Some of you have never heard of a movie so bad it's considered one of the worst movies ever made, yet put money into the production values. It's called "The Room".

Even watching reviews of it is painful. It's so bad.

The Nostalgia Critic review:

The CinemaSins sins video:

Even Honest Trailers jumped in on it recently:

And in case anybody is curious, since this is a film score board, the orchestral score is by somebody named Mladen Milicevic. It's not bad. It's unreleased. his scoring career recovered from this event.

Like "Trolls 2" -- a film so bad a documentary was made about it where cast and crew panned it -- something similar has happened for "The Room". A movie about making the movie. It's called "The Disaster Artist" and opens tomorrow in America (some countries were lucky and got it early; if that "lucky").

The score is by Dave Porter. I wonder if they tried to get the original composer.

Anyway, take some time out to enjoy just how bad this movie is. And creepy, too. Very creepy.

I own The Room on DVD, but I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. It's in my pile though. From what I hear, the movie is a pile.... big grin

LOL!! I've heard that line is in the film! Good one.

I got it cheap on Amazon a few years ago. I can't believe I haven't worked up the strength to watch it yet smile I like cheesy films of the "so bad they're amazing to watch" variety. Edward D. Wood Jr. is another favorite. You can't go wrong (or maybe you can) with Glen or Glenda or Plan 9 From Outer Space.... cool

TPW Records released the cd in 2003 of that atrocious awful "score". I carried a copy around Amoeba Records for 15 mins. years ago, before coming to my senses and stashing it amongst kiddie albums, hopefully never to be found. If The Room doesn't make you howl with delight. ...see the Rifftrax version. Still, no joy? You are El Morte.

I stand corrected. I did a very quick search months ago and came up empty.

I've only seen parts of the movie from the reviews, and I watched the opening to hear the credits music, so what little I heard didn't sound bad and sounded like a rather decent orchestral score.

Looking at his IMDb page, I see he did other things. And according to it he even has a role in "The Disaster Artist".
