I just finished season five of CSI. Quentin Tarantino directs the final 2 episodes of the season and the first part contains possibly some of the final filmed work of Tony Curtis and Frank Gorshin. smile

Thanks for starting this thread. I think next to the popularity and endure of "What Movie Title Are You Watching? Rate 1-10" thread, we need a television thread. Right now I'm catching up on some Felicity (seen it before and it never gets old) between finishing Dexter and starting either Dead Like Me or Dollhouse...was gonna start Six Feet Under but there was a mishap in delivery of the DVDs, I have to return them and now the fire's kinda gone...silly I know...

Well i'm not watching any old tv series but at the moment my current series I am following are:
Criminal Minds
Criminal Minds Suspect Behavior
Bones
House
I can't wait for the following shows to start up again:
Dexter
True Blood
BBC Merlin (I watch it when it airs in England not the re-broadcasts here in the US)

So far Criminal Minds Suspect Behavior has lived up to the quality of the original and I like the cast very much.

I did a search before I started the thread. I am torn between CSI NY Season 3 and The Adventures of Brisco County Jr or maybe 24 season 3....
I didn't limit the thread to just tv, but with the movie thread maybe we should limit this to just tv series. Input?
I have a huge backlog of season sets to watch.

I'm currently re-watching Hawaii Five-O, the sixth season. Musically, it's the most interesting of the program's many musical high watermarks, with Richard Shores, Bruce Broughton, and especially Morton Stevens providing great, great underscore.

My parents and sister watch Five-O every night Monday through Friday at 8PM on one of the local channels here in Detroit. Episode last night involved Danny being kidnapped by some SLA copy cat group(The People's Liberation Army)....any idea what season that is?

I'm currently following DR. WHO, FRINGE, STARGATE UNIVERSE, V - THE SERIES, PRIMEVAL, THE WALKING DEAD, WAREHOUSE 13 and AN IDIOT ABROAD.

Also reruns of KING OF QUEENS, SEINFELD, SIMPSONS, FAMILY GUY, TWO AND A HALF MEN, FRIENDS and THAT 70's SHOW. Many of these are shown in a timeframe that coincides with my dinner time, so they're excellent "company".

I'm on the lookout for more shows to follow, though, pr. this earlier thread of mine:

Watching the Megaset for SPACE: 1999...

Current episode... FULL CIRCLE from Series One...

The show was not for everyone's taste, but I loved it as a kid and even now... love it still.

Amazing how many impressive guest stars were featured on this show...

Christopher Lee
Peter Cushing
Roy Dotrice
Jeremy Kemp
Ian McShane

among others...

Transferring old Game Show Network recordings to DVD.

Password Plus (February 1980) (Loretta Swit-Ron Masak)
Super Password (May 1987) (Susan Ruttan-Ed Winter)

Earlier in the evening I transferred the ESPN Classic replay of the greatest choke job in the history of golf, Arnold Palmer's collapse in the final nine holes of the 1966 US Open when he blew a seven stroke lead to Billy Casper. Palmer was never the same golfer again after that (never winning another major title).

I have also been squeezing in with a mixture of fascination and incredulity the "documentary" series "Life After People", which can sometimes reveal some interesting info on what it takes to keep things preserved from destruction (as well as real-life examples of abandoned communities I didn't know about) but can also be a bizarre case of "2000 ways to tell us that things decay and fall apart over time without supervision!" That said, if I want to see CGI effects of famous landmarks falling down, I'd rather see it this way than in some dopey Emmerich-Devlin movie.

Must be one of those "can only be seen by the person who posted it because the linked site put a temporary cookie on your computer" pics.

If you refresh the page, it'll probably disappear.

EDIT: Looking at the url, there are actually two too many //s, which causes the same problem (the image can be seen by the poster but no one else).
