I prefer my statements with a generous helping of shortcake! ...and don't forget the whipped cream!

THE RASPBERRY CONCLUSION? THE EVIL JOHN DENVER CLONE?

Now REALLY Mark...whoever heard of Raspberry Shortcake?

Now REALLY Mark...whoever heard of Raspberry Shortcake? To tell you the truth, I had no idea what film this was even with all the hints and clues. I recognized Kim Darby in the photo and checked her credits - voila!

There are raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, boysenberries, huckleberries, roddenberries, and nozberries. I think it's time for us to choose which berry will answer the question that Chickenhearted has placed before us. And...NO! There is no such thing as a Chickenberry. WE MUST CHOOSE. OK everyone. Let us draw STRAWS. The one among you who picks the shortest STRAW will make the STATEMENT. It doesn't get any clearer than that.

Oh of course! THE MAGIC GARDEN OF STANLEY STRAWBERRY!
|
|
|
|
|
BACK OFF, MARK! You did NOT draw the short straw. However, you got the berry question correct. Have you a STATEMENT to make?

Frankly, philiperic, that photo really isn't instantly recognizable as Bruce Davison...I kinda' always thought it was a John Denver lookalike myself... Willard didn't wear specs or long hippie hair.

I would not have known in a million years that was Davison had I not checked the Wikipedia page on THE STR ... Oh wait, we still have no idea what film this is. =rolls eyes=

"You're right , Christopher - but I meant to say Ben's friend - that one was a real rodent!" That would be Socrates, correct? He was the white one. NOW...back to the berries...do we all agree on BOYSENBERRIES, or are some of you still voting on RODDENBERRIES?

I would not have known in a million years that was Davison had I not checked the Wikipedia page ... Yeah definitely a rat with him.

What's funny is that, aside from THE GATHERING, I'm not too familiar with Davison's early work. I tend to picture him more from the 1990s (LONGTIME COMPANION, Wick Thayer in SEINFELD.)

He was good in Ulzana's Raid. But I dont think Kim Darby was in that. Unless she played an apache.

He was good in Ulzana's Raid. But I dont think Kim Darby was in that. Unless she played an apache. I think she did because that's Halie Steinfeld's role in the upcoming Coens remake of ULZANA.
