DOC SAVAGE---Shane Black (IRON MAN 3) said about his upcoming movie based on the 1930s pulp hero, "We’re shooting it as though it’s in the 30s, including all the Capra-esque elements of 1930s films like You Can’t Take It With You. The idea of ‘What if Jimmy Stewart were a stone-cold killer?’ basically. It’s that kind of combination which we enjoy.
Doc Savage is a personal film to me. It’s a 1930s pulp character so it hasn’t been around for 75 years or so, but people if they’re introduced to it they’ll get to know, hopefully, what I came to love as a kid. I’ve read those series for 43 years and always wanted to figure out how to crack it."
JACOB'S LADDER---remake of the 1990 Adriane Lyne/Tim Robbins cult movie is underway. Jeff Buhler (MIDNIGHT MEAT EXPRESS) will write the script based on an early draft for the original movie by Jake Wade Wall.
AMERICAN GODS---six-season series underway based on the Neil Gaiman novel from HBO and Tom Hanks' Playtone Productions. Each season will have 10-12 episodes.
AN AMERICAN MYSTERY---biomovie underway about Nicole Brown-Simpson and OJ Simpson starring Charlotte Kirk (NON-STOP) in which "Ms. Kirk’s portrayal of Nicole Brown-Simpson will span the period from when she first met the famed running back as an 18 year old in 1977 to her untimely death in 1994."
GAME OF THRONES---Pedro Pascal (THE GOOD WIFE) will join the cast as Prince Oberyn Martell/Red Viper in Season 4.
THE VATICAN TAPES---horror movie underway in which a routine exorcism on a 27-year-old woman exposes an ancient satanic force. Michael Pena, Djimon Housou and Dougray Scott star.
THE YOUNG WORLD---Warner Bros. movie underway based on the novel trilogy set in a post-apocalyptic New York where everyone on Earth has mysteriously died except teenagers.
THE FIRE SERMON---DreamWorks movie underway based on the upcoming novel trilogy set in the post-apocalyptic 25th century where modern technology no longer exists and all children are born as twins. The twins are comprised of two groups---Alpha twins are the ruling class, and Omega twins are the lower class. If one twin dies, the other will also die.
19---horror movie trilogy underway in which everyone turns into a zombie on their 19th birthday which results in a world run by teenagers under 19.
BIG EYES---Terence Stamp will co-star in this Tim Burton biomovie about Margaret Keane, the 1950s artist known for her "Big Eyes" children's paintings, who sued her husband after he took credit for her work. Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz also star.

Does this mean it will be in black and white and have a 1.37:1 aspect ratio?
