From the civility thread on the other side of the board - Me: Absolutely - disagreeing can be as much fun as agreeing. As long as both sides appreciate that there really isn't a "correct" answer. Last Child: really? 2+2 doesnt always equal 4? Well I'll be darned, learn something new every day! You're pleased to use a simplistic example to poke fun. Fair enough! I've been known to do that kind of thing myself on occasion. No, really! However, not wishing to resurrect the other thread particularly, I thought I'd point out here that in certain circumstances, the answer to 2 + 2 may not be 4. If you have a house number 2 from the hardware shop, and you add another number 2 to it, you end up with 22 And then by coincidence I came across the following little conundrum - so what's the answer? 6 - 1 x 0 + 2 / 2 = ? (when / means divided by) My good friend MusicMad, who's got a head for numbers, would probably get it right, but he's on holiday right now! This is thrown out to everyone... TG
