STAR WARS: EPISODE VII---Jett Lucas, son of George Lucas, said his father was working on the new trilogy before Disney bought the franchise: "We knew probably a year prior (to the purchase) he had started writing and researching, starting his whole little process. About a year later was when the idea of selling to Disney came up...It's nice because he's happiest when he's writing and doing something with his time."
Jett said his father was torn between starting the new trilogy or letting it go, "I knew that he was very torn on the matter, he was like a kid who had turned 18 and was ready to leave the house. Every parent has wanted to let their children go but they want to hold on to you."
He said he already knows the new trilogy's ending, "I already know what happens. I'm happy with what's going to happen."
He added that contrary to reports, his father is "constantly talking" to director J.J. Abrams about EPISODE VII.

Well that doesn't bode well for this movie.

Okay, does Pierce Brosnan owe back taxes or something? I like the guy, but how's he signed up for so many projects?

I'm more relieved by Chu's departure than I am worried about Rossio scripting. (At least he's written some movies I've enjoyed.)

The guy has to pay his electric bill, just like everyone else.
