WEDNESDAY, MAY 15 THE WILD BUNCH---remake underway of the classic 1969 Sam Peckinpah Western with Will Smith in talks to be the star/producer. The remake is set in the present with DEA agents taking on a Mexican drug cartel. William Holden, Ernest Borgnine, Robert Ryan, Warren Oates and Ben Johnson starred in the original movie. CBS---new series include: 1. INTELLIGENCE---Josh Holloway (LOST) stars as an agent of the US Cyber Command with a microchip implanted in his brain which allows him to see the entire electromagnetic spectrum. Marg Helgenberger also stars. 2. HOSTAGES---Jerry Bruckheimer series about a female surgeon who must operate on the President when she learns her family has been kidnapped. Toni Collette and Dylan McDermott star. 3. MOM--sitcom starring Anna Faris as an alcoholic single mom who moves to Napa Valley to recover. 4. THE MILLERS---sitcom about a divorced dad who must deal with his parents. Will Arnett and Beau Bridges star. 5. THE CRAZY ONES---sitcom starring Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar as a father and daughter working in the same ad agency. 6. WE ARE MEN---sitcom starring Tony Shalhoub, Jerry O'Connell and Kal Penn in which a guy moves into a bachelor complex. ABC---new series include: 1. MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. which will air opposite CBS' NCIS. 2. KILLER WOMEN---Tricia Helfer stars as a Texas Ranger. 3. THE GOLDBERGS---sitcom about a 1980s family being videotaped by the son. 4. TROPHY WIFE---sitcom about a trophy wife who must deal with her new husband's ex-wives and their families. Malin Akerman and Bradley Whitford star. 5. LUCKY 7---seven New York gas station workers win the lottery. 6. BACK IN THE GAME---a single mom/softball star moves back in with her estranged baseball player/coach father. Maggie Lawson and James Caan star. 7. SUPER FUN NIGHT---sitcom about three girlfriends whose traditional Friday night partying is endangered when one of them gets a promotion with her law firm and meets a lawyer who is the man of her dreams. 8. ONCE UPON A TIME IN WONDERLAND---Alice in Wonderland spin-off of ONCE UPON A TIME. 9. BETRAYAL---soap drama about an adulterous couple's families involved in a scandalous, high profile murder trial. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 5---Christopher McQuarrie (THE USUAL SUSPECTS, JACK REACHER) is in talks to direct the sequel which is being written by Drew Pearce (IRON MAN 3). FURY---Michael Pena is in talks to co-star with Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf and Logan Lerman in this World War II movie about the crew of an M4 Sherman tank behind German lines in the last days of the war. DRAFT DAY---Sam Elliott and Tom Welling will co-star with Kevin Costner, Jennifer Garner, Frank Langella and Denis Leary in this Ivan Reitman comedy movie about the Cleveland Browns' general manager who must sign his number one draft pick. DUSK TILL DAWN---tv series underway from Robert Rodriguez based on his vampire movie written by Quentin Tarantino. It will air on Rodriguez's new El Rey cable network. THE CANDY STORE---Christoph Waltz will co-star with Robert De Niro and Jason Clarke in this movie about an ex-special ops agent who teams up with an ex-cop to combat an evil international organization in New York. BRICK MANSIONS---Luc Besson remake of his earlier movie DISTRICT B13 in which an undercover agent must recover a weapon of mass destruction in the ghetto after it was stolen by a drug dealer. Paul Walker, RZA and Catalina Denis star. CHEF---Scarlett Johansson will co-star in this Jon Favreau comedy movie about a star chef who loses his job and starts over by driving a food truck. Robert Downey, Jr. and Sofia Vergara co-star. PESTE---Abigail Breslin (SIGNS) stars in this movie about a small town stricken by a killer virus. STRETCH---comedy movie about a limousine driver who needs to pay off his debts by driving a billionaire around who is nothing but trouble. Patrick Wilson and Chris Pine star. Joe Carnahan is the director. INTO THE WOODS---Chris Pine and Jake Gyllenhaal are in talks to co-star with Johnny Depp and Meryl Streep in this movie based on the Broadway musical. GAY---untitled HBO series underway about gay men in San Francisco starring Jonathan Groff. ABCs OF DEATH---sequel movie underway to the original which featured 26 short horror films.

THURSDAY, MAY 16 BLACKBIRD---Cate Blanchett stars in this movie from David Mamet (THE UNTOUCHABLES, THE VERDICT, THE UNIT) as a woman who travels to Los Angeles to attend her grandfather's funeral. Her life is endangered when she discovers not only was he a special effects artist for Hollywood movies but also worked for US special ops during the John F. Kennedy assassination. DEPARTURE---movie underway from writer/director Billy Ray (THE HUNGER GAMES) in which an FAA investigator probes the disappearance of a 727 airliner over Miami which then reappeared in the exact same spot 10 minutes later. He then must investigate more mysterious incidents over Miami including one that involves his wife. The movie is inspired by Martin Caidin's nonfiction book GHOSTS OF THE AIR. TNT---series pilots include: 1. PETER GUNN---remake of the 1950s Blake Edwards (THE PINK PANTHER, BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S) private eye series that starred Craig Stevens, Lola Albright and Herschel Bernardi. The series is also known for Henry Mancini's classic "Peter Gunn" theme. Steven Spielberg and Julie Andrews are co-executive producers. 2. PORTAL HOUSE--scientists investigating a haunted house discover a portal to time travel. Steven Spielberg is co-executive producer. 3. THE LAST COP---a Los Angeles cop in a coma wakes up after 20 years. Sylvester Stallone is the executive producer. 4. TRIBECA---sitcom about a group of brilliant eccentrics who solve crimes. Steve Carell is the co-executive producer. 5. A BEND IN THE ROAD---based on the novel about a sheriff who investigates his wife's unsolved murder. 6. GUILT BY ASSOCIATION---based on the novel about a deputy Los Angeles district attorney written by Marcia clark, the lead prosecutor in the OJ Simpson trial. 7. Z FOR ZACHARIAH---movie based on the post-apocalyptic novel in which a girl on the family farm discovers she's not the only survivor of a nuclear war. Tobey Maguire, Chris Pine and Amanda Seyfried star. THE EXPENDABLES 3---Sylvester Stallone confirmed Mickey Rourke is returning for the sequel and Wesley Snipes is in talks to co-star. IRON SKY: THE COMING RACE---the sequel to the Finnish movie about Nazis fleeing to the Moon at the end of World War II and later invading Earth is underway. THE KILL LIST---movie rights were bought to the Frederick Forsyth spy novel. INHERENT VICE---Reese Witherspoon joins the cast of Joaquin Phoenix, Benecio Del Toro and Owen Wilson in this movie based on the novel about a 1960s Los Angeles private eye who is investigating the kidnapping of a billionaire. SUPERFAST---spoof movie of the FAST AND FURIOUS franchise is underway from the creators of MEET THE SPARTANS and VAMPIRES SUCK. EXPIRATION---Bruce Willis stars in this movie as a poisoned hitman who must find the antidote before he dies. HIGHER POWER---movie underway about a man who acquires god-like powers. NIKITA---The CW announced the upcoming season will be the last and will have six episodes. GUIDANCE---Seann William Scott and Leslie Bibb star in this comedy movie about a high school guidance counselor who changes the transcripts for a student who reminds him of himself so the student will get the opportunity to be accepted by a good university.

FRIDAY, MAY 17 WAREHOUSE 13---Syfy renewed the series for Season 5 which will be the last season and have only six episodes. Showrunner Jack Kenny said they will have "[six] "fantastic episodes planned...I'm just glad they gave us a nice exit. Way better than just canceled. I think." Eddie McClintock tweeted, "Six episodes [are] definitely better than a 'get lost.' I promise we won't let you down." Syfy's Mark Stern said, "We are grateful to the loyal and passionate fan base, and know that Jack Kenny, his gifted creative team, and outstanding ensemble cast will give them an amazing finale season." JAMES BOND---a British newspaper reported Christopher Nolan (THE DARK KNIGHT, INCEPTION) is in early talks to direct the 24th Bond movie. Nolan has said he is a big James Bond fan and would be interested in directing a Bond movie. CROUCHING TIGER HIDDEN DRAGON: THE GREEN DESTINY---the sequel starts filming in March, 2014 with Donnie Yen and Michelle Yeoh returning. ZOMBIELAND---Amazon.com has decided not to order the tv series based on the movie after the pilot received poor viewer ratings. Writer/producer Rhett Reese commented, I'll never understand the vehement hate the pilot received from die-hard Zombieland fans. You guys successfully hated it out of existence. Anyway, we did our best, and we're very proud of our team." INTO THE WOODS---Emily Blunt and Christine Baranski are in talks to co-star with Johnny Depp, Meryl Streep and Chris Pine in this movie based on the Broadway musical. THE WHITE CIRCUS---"dark fairytale" movie underway about a combat pilot who crashes his airplane. He journeys to a town where he falls in love with a cabaret singer, befriends a talking circus bear and takes on a ruling despot. Christian Friedel, Andrea Riseborough, Asa Butterfield and Chloe Moretz star. SUMMER CROSSING---Scarlett Johansson will direct this movie based on Truman Capote's first novel about a young debutante who falls in love with a Jewish parking valet. THE VATICAN TAPES---supernatural movie underway about a woman who behaves strangely after her cut finger becomes infected. After examinations, the Vatican believes she has been possessed by satanic forces which must be exorcised. THE RAVEN---Gerard Butler is in talks to star in this movie based on the short film in which a man with super powers is pursued by the government and military who want his powers for their own use. LAST LOVE---Michael Caine, Clemence Poesy and Gillian Anderson star in this movie based on the French novel about a lonely widower who falls in love with a younger woman in Paris. AUTOBAHN---movie underway about a young couple touring Europe being pursued by German drug smugglers after they discover their car is being used to smuggle drugs. Zac Efron and Amber Heard star. GOD'S PLANET---movie underway based on the novel about a construction worker who gets into trouble after a construction site death. MONDAY, MAY 20 TRANSFORMERS 4---Chinese actress Li Bingbing (RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION) has joined the reboot movie cast of Mark Wahlberg, Kelsey Grammer, Nicola Peltz and Stanley Tucci. STAR WARS: EPISODE VII---Jonathan Rhys Meyers (THE TUDORS, DRACULA) is rumored to be in talks to co-star in the movie. Meyers appeared in JJ Abrams' MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 3. Also, the new animated series STAR WARS REBELS will premiere on the Disney Channel in 2014. It is described as, "The action-filled series is set between the events of Episode III and IV -- an era spanning almost two decades never-before explored on-screen. Star Wars Rebels takes place in a time where the Empire is securing its grip on the galaxy and hunting down the last of the Jedi Knights as a fledgling rebellion against the Empire is taking shape."
