While checking through the records at 20th Century Fox, it was discovered that Jim personally did all of the screams and roars of Irwin Allen's dinosaurs in THE LOST WORLD with his own voice and a cheap mic , and got healthy royalty checks whenever Irwin would re-use them on his TV series (and also when George Lucas used one of his vocalizations for the Tie fighters in STAR WARS)
