This is such a long thread it might have been talked about but it is fascinating how through the ages the many things people will create out of a fear of a jinx or things out of there control. I chuckle because nearly everyone I know has some of these traits. For instance when I leave my house all my life when I lock the door it is 8 taps on the top lock, 6 taps on the bottom lock.Maybe it is a humble salute to realize we do know so little in the large scheme of things.
MOVIES, which is a network that just shows movies, albeit with commercials, is having a marathon, all day, today. However, they are starting with Part 3. I wish they would release Part 3 on a proper 3D Blu-ray! Can't believe they haven't.
Forgot about this, but so happens I bought some blu-rays this week and I'll be watching Ghost Rider 3d first this evening, followed by Evil Dead remake, -if I can still muster- followed by the Exorcist.

When I was a kid they called it superstition. Now it's OCD.
There´s a legend grown here, a killer buried but not dead. Happy FRIDAY THE 13TH I´m excited that a new movie is in development, hope they do it justice and not a found photage movie...
In order to keep tradition alive (as well as this nearly four-year-old thread)...
HAPPY FRIDAY THE 13TH!!!
When I have time I will sit down and do a proper marathon soon. Definitely no time this week, way too busy. Hate to say that this year, no time for Jason!
Hope others are enjoying the films, particularly Part 2, my personal favorite!
My enjoyment of F13th this time around was limited to listening to horror scores while watching the world cup matches. For the Spanish that somehow felt fitting.
Zoinks! I've been so caught up in the hecticness of life that I didn't realize that this coming Friday is a Friday the 13th until Accidental Genius reminded me of it on the other side of the board!
Hope you get more sleep tonight than little Nancy did...
"It was real, just like on TV!"

To celebrate my favorite film in the series...
This clip is one of my all-time favorite F13 moments. My vote for the hottest girl in the series goes to Terri here, who also has the greatest scream in the entire series. Her screams here send chills up my spine, and I love when during her final scream she looks right at the camera (at Jason)...
This is still one of the most shocking kills in the entire series, no matter how many times I see it. The music, the lightning, the thunder, the slow creep-up, the vintage first three F13 films' fade-to-white...
Since it's my favorite film of the series, might as well... (holy shit the voiceover actor's voice just makes this trailer terrifying...)
Nobody celebrates Friday the 13th with me anymore... This thread used to be a happening joint. David Kessler joined in this week but he was two days late!
Ok guys n gals (Josh Mitchell, Mrs. Josh Mitchell -- Mitchell family F13 marathon? Redokt64? losher22? Michael24? Storyteller? Henry, I know you have the Blu-ray set...), where in Crystal Lake are you guys??? We've got another Friday the 13th coming next month, I expect a better turnout!
Dude, we rocked parts 2, 3 & 4 on Friday night. Ain't nothin' like a family F13-a-thon!
One of my favorite scenes in part 3 is when they're smokin' doobage in the van while driving down the road and the cops roll behind them with sirens blaring. They panic and eat all their stash only to pull over and have the cops speed right past. Their reaction is priceless. Classic!
And Crispin Glover busting a move in part 4 never gets old. I bust a gut every time.

What up Josh! Yeah I love that scene in part 3. It's really funny. Andy panicking with little bits of weed stuck in his teeth and falling out of his mouth, "C'mon, Chuck, C'mon!" And then they hilariously in unison all go "Aaahhhwwwww..." when the cops go speeding by... It really is like some That 70's Show episode.
Glad you guys had a good time with parts 2-4 Friday night!
"Would you care to dance?" "To this?" "This...it's...it's good!"
