Massive improvement over the previous album. Gone is the progressive rock sound that goes nowhere and keeps it from being a cohesive whole. Finally a new album since Outworld's self titled album that really gives the vocalist Kelly Sundown Carpenter the right chance to shine. Simply put this is a deliciously sinister album that still has plenty of melody and catchy guitar. An absolute must for fans of power/heavy metal. Background musicians don't have the same talent as those on Outworld but it is still quite fantastic.
I'm really loving Yes right now. I've played Close To The Edge a gajillion times since I got it last year. I can easily see that happening with this one... even though it's four tracks clocking in at 84 minutes.
