Well now you've done it. I mean mentioned tennis. So now the floodgates are opened, let me say "well done" on your achievement so far Bill, and here's hoping that your future semis... are.... satisfactory. Gettit, Bill love? Love? See?

If Cristiano Ronaldo is sent to prison along with Lionel Messi for tax evasion, they could be cellmates and the greatest reality/superhero movie of all time could be born.

Yeah, I've got this mental image (really mental) of them sharing a cell and having to be the whole team plus the goalies. I see them scratching big goal posts on opposing walls with chalk, then taking penalties at each other. CGI could provide great shots of them running across the ceiling etc in order to score by bouncing the ball off forty-six differently angled bits of floor, wall, ceiling, corner, and toilet bowl (shurely not in THEIR cell?), then fighting in slo-mo in mid-air as the camera pans round in 380ยบ admiration of their physical prowess, angry determined expressions, and stupid bits of sinew on the neck. And that's BEFORE they mutate.

Team USA get a point at Mexico in their World Cup Qualifier. Nice chip-of-the-keeper goal from Michael Bradley. 1-1 draw at the Azteca, a most difficult stadium in which to play (especially when they're booing one's national anthem).

The ROI looked like they were denied a win vs Austria. Good game, though.

Manuel in FT.

These bastards here dont care graham - i could win more titles that federer and theyd be saying - well, those that arent on ignore - Piss off to the murray thread! But its the same as kev telling us hes the oldest man in his sunday league division , nobody cares..

As for messi and ronaldo sharing cells ...Messi could be digging a tunnel behind his accordion and Ronaldo could have birds land on him. And he'd probably shoo them away!!! And asking the Floorwalker if he can go and play grab-ass! With himself! wink

That France-England friendly you boys are ignoring is looking pretty interesting now. 2-2 and Varane of France sent off with a red card--but with the help of video assist technology. Harry "Future of English Football" Kane has scored twice.

i wondered how long it would be before someone asked.
Priceless wink

Its like the movie where the spy goes in the bookshop and says some code or other and the shop owner says You should try reading such and such book - which is the one that holds the microfeesh!

"Excuse me, do you hav any bunting blue western threads?"
"Ahh grey squirrel, i was expecting you 3 days ago - you should try reading more Bruce Marshall!"

As for france v england jim, iam recording and wil watch highlites in the morning. With my porridge.

With Joan Sanderson as the selectively deaf Mrs Richards, completely at odds with Manuel.

Manuel was supposed to be from Barcelona. Barcelona is in Catalonia. Catalonia is going to unilaterally declare itself a completely new country, freed from the "oppressive brutality" of the rest of Spain. Pep Guardiola was given the task of reading out to the already-converted masses the reasons why the people need to vote for "freedom", seemingly unaware of the consequences for Barcelona's football team.

Don't mention politics. I did once, but I think I got away with it.

I love the BBC Sport app. Why? Because it allows me to read tripe like "England can win the 2022 World Cup."

Anyone here going to Qatar to witness the historic moment?

West Ham United open the 2017-18 Premiership season at Old Trafford.

Oh No, its fixtures isnt it.

Its warmer in Qatar of an evening than it is on the surface of the sun.
So nah. If i won tickets, id ask for the cash.

Ah yes united always request they dont play hammers in the last 3 games of any season.
Wev fkd their title chances up so often its become a freakish phenomenon.

You'll never get your MBE or Damehood or whatever for services to tennis... so it'll have to be for comedy.
