Then they're liars  . Of course POV matters. It's like the backlash of whites inaccurately claiming "discrimination" because of affirmative action. The only way I can think to inform them of white privilege is by the analogy of handicap parking spaces - the world revolves around the abled (whites) and we dont notice this unless we're disabled (non-white), or inconvenienced by handicap parking spaces (affirmative action).
Generally speaking, it's human males that are hunting the females. You dont hear about women gang raping a guy (although maybe because he wouldnt perceive it as rape).
To me and, I suppose, to the people I associate with, true logical reasoning doesn't have a gender attached to it.
I think we have to be on our guard and avoid making sweeping generalizations, because then we'd be guilty of the exact same thing that Hollyweird is doing.
And when we, as a people en masse, do occasionally fall into the habit of using those generalizations, we have to step back and recognize it for what it is and correct ourselves. I think it's equally vital that both genders have this ability.
The comparison to the French Revolution methods seems fairly apt.
I'd even go as far as to say that it's becoming a hysteria of witch-hunt proportions.
Almost every day someone new is in the public guillotine without there having been any actual charges laid yet.
It's all making my head hurt.

Merry Christmas to my many friends at FSM.
I'm currently imprisoned at the Federal Medical Center Devens in Ayer, Massachusetts which is has a "voluntary, intensive, residential therapeutic program for higher risk male sex offenders".
In other words, the federal government is trying to cure me of sexting 15 year-old girls in North Carolina that I want to have wild, perverted sex with.

Sorry, is this meant to be funny? It isn’t. It’s actually pretty pathetic. I Just goes to prove that being a soundtrack collector doesn’t exempt people from being tasteless. Or stupid apparently.
