So, is it the plan to roll this new philosophy down to all of the state and local pageants that feed the contestants to the Miss America Pageant? As far as making it a contest of talent and smarts, don't we already have those? America's Got Talent has been running since 2006 and Jeopardy's been on the air since 1964.

Someone tweeted this: "Miss America no longer to be judged on personal appearance. "Long jumpers no longer to be judged on length of jump, but ability to spout "woke" progressive cliches about women's empowerment. "Olympic swimmers to be judged on strength of virtue signal."

I used to go to a "Supermen Competition" in LA. Yes, it was guys. Yes, there was a swimsuit portion. And yes, I doubt I would have gone if there was not a swimsuit portion.

Well, if we are judging them on their brains solely, them a number of things leap to mind: Why do we have to see them at all? You won me over on this one, JB!

I used to go to a "Supermen Competition" in LA. Yes, it was guys. Yes, there was a swimsuit portion. And yes, I doubt I would have gone if there was not a swimsuit portion. On the other hand, men have not been objectified for their looks for NEARLY as long, or as extensively, as women have. So maybe my analogy doesn't work.
