Wagner's "Der Ring Des Nibelungen" by Sir Georg Solti

How much time does it take you to listen
to the whole Ring thing, a day or two?
Or do you play selections?

The set contains four boxes.
I listen to one box (4 CDs) at a time and slowly: meaning one box a day.
I read the booklet while listening to the music.
I recommend the hand of conductor Solti who is marvelous with the work of both Wagner and Mozart.

Box #1 "Das Rheingold" contains 2 CDs (145.45 minutes)
Box #2 "Die Walküre" contains 4 CDs (228.59 minutes)
Box #3 "Siegfried" contains 4 CDs (237.05 minutes)
Box #4 "Götterdämmerung" contains 4 CDs (265.07 minutes)

Thanks for your reply mr. Miklos

I do have a instrumental 'highlights' cd (cond. by Solti),
it's great to listen to it every now and then, but I wonder
if I would have the stamina to play the whole Ring.
My thoughts start wandering if movies or music go on for a long time,
but not as fast as when there is a work-related meeting smile
