Edw pulled up an old thread from MD to ask me to contact her. I didn't notice the date either. I thought the message was from both of them.
(Duh on me.)

Actually the last name is pronounced Huey. Very odd.
I'm off on a short trip for a while, so Bill and Chris will have to pick on someone else until I return to kick their butts. smile

It could have been pronounced "hway".

Now that I know it's "huey", I'll have to re-think you, 'cause I always imagined your aura as having a hue that reflected the mood of whatever you were writing about.

I'm a bit confused...Montana Dave has been waiting 6 years for Joan to contact him?!

so poor old montana dave is sitting at home yesterday and gets an email from Joan saying What do you want now?? completely out of the blue when he didnt want to hear from her, but six years after he actually did??? Clear as a bell now.

manderley, shouldn't that be…
"HUE, DUE & LUE?"

And, for your information, Joanie Dearest…I do not take any meds.
Even so, the institution booted me out, and I'm still waiting at the airport for you.
It's been a couple of days, and I'm getting really hungry now...

joan, when you get back from your break, we have had some rain here so i dont need the car done now, however, the hedge outside needs trimming.

i thought perhaps while she was away we could prepare a list of tasks to keep her busy on her return?

Instead of a "honey do" list perhaps a "hue due" list?

I'll wash your car if YOU fly me there first class. I was in London a few years ago. Very lovely and VERY expensive, so if you won't fly me, I'll have to send Tall Guy and Timmer over.

Just to let you know its expensive for us non-Londoners too :/

and now, im sad to say, its a shit hole, man! So save your money and dont go there unless youve got a few helicopter gunships and Robert Duvall is your mate.

Anyway, its not like years ago when there were soundtrack shops and reasons to go into town!!

I'm so glad everybody's having such fun making plans for Joan.
I'm still waiting at the airport, and I haven't eaten in days.
PLUS, Mr. Dogbelle is waiting for his Alpo!

C'MON people!
Get your priorities straight!

Sure, make fun of my name. My husband said when he was in high school, his friends called him "Baby Huey" after the cartoon duck. I was pregnant about a year before ultra sound emerged, so for a while the doctor thought I might have triplets. Of course, people said to name them Huey, Duey and Luey. Nasty people. So glad I only had twins.

I might put a "pox" on all of your houses for making fun of my name and make "worms' meat" of you. wink

Ms. Dogbelle needs to feed Doggie so HE can pick up Chris.

Sorry to have dobbed you in, Joan, but Doggie wheedled it out of me smile

And presumably you at least pronounce your first name in the traditional manner. It's not "Ho-Ann", for example, or Choo-Ane", or "Bernard"...
