When I was a kid, I would have been thrilled to have seen that out my window!

A great big duck was walking around right outside my window, but by the time I got batteries into my camera-- and it wouldn't work, memory card full-- and I finally got a shot, the bird had walked quite a distance away. All I got was this bitty image (tightly cropped):

To Thor-no not really, but if i saw a dinosaur that big roaming down my street, i would quote[you might have seen this film] since you like Scifi- food of the gods-76-a lady saying something like can't think of anything as horrible as being eaten alive by giant rats, it is one of those things in life where if you really think about being in a SCIFI , horror or any film's premise, you slap yourself in your face and look at it as it would be, getting eating alive[like that cop did in beast from 20,000 fathoms] from that beast , not a pleasent thought.there must be easier ways to die?

To Thor- well then when you come to America you might still feel a little at home because that landscape Adam B showed you is a very typical looking landscape in loads of small surburban cities and towns throughout the big USA, also in some neigborhoods in big cities. Very common sight.
