BTW, Anz, Walsh thinks that you and I are the same person. Funny, that's the second time in a week someone's made a claim that I and another poster are One. Hello Daniel, What you described happened to me too. For some, I was Jim Wynorsky and ToneRow. That occurs when you share the same taste for music. Your lordship ----- Sneaky is best.

Here's a re-post of that photo of me circa 1979. Because no one demanded it! Note the "phantom" drawer on TV, I'm not sure of the brand, but I think it was RCA... along with cable box, 1950s "blonde wood" furniture, sculptured carpet (my grandparents bypassed shag completely), and plastic-wrapped sofa and lamp shade. Hey, I totally dig the Hamlin push-button non-remote cable box on your console TV. Looks like my living room back then - except mine had gold walls and rusty brown shag carpet! By the way, is that an RCA XL100 console TV? I had one and I think Anzaldiman had one too. When our tube blew out, my dad stipped the cabinet and used the big empty cavity to store screws and tools. I believe it was an RCA, as I mention above, though I'd never have known the exact model. I'm pretty sure we had that TV until about 1983, because I remember watching the premiere of "After MASH" on a small B&W set that we placed on top of the lifeless corpse of the RCA. I'm also sure we bought one more furniture-sized set after that one. I'll have to check the "archives" when I get the chance. IIRC, it had two "layers" of channels that were accessed via a little wheel-like switch on the left side of the box. While I can't claim I "encourage" you and Anz to post some '70s pics, I can state with certainty that I'd probably get a kick out of seeing them.
