Think I'm going to give WavePad a shot (the trial at least). See how that one feels.
Interested to know what you think! Would like to know how it compares to other audio editing programs .
Since my previous post about giving WavePad a shot, I've had a couple of chances to sit down and play with it a little, but not NEARLY enough time to get familiar with the GUI (I had some fun with the Reduce Vocal effect--that was neat). I really need to put in more time with it. That's a particular disability with me... it takes so long for me to get used to something new, but once I "get it", I'm the king! LOL
It seems that when it comes to stuff like this, the GUI is the single biggest aspect to its useability. It all comes down to personal taste or preference. One user will hate what another loves and vice-versa.
But yeah, I need more time. That's the hard part, though. Missus keeps me pretty busy.
I understand. At the end of the day its all about familiarity and time. I just couldn't put the time into audacity I wanted to, and it was not intuitive for me either. So I broke down and purchased an upgrade for WavePad. It does what I need to do and I do it well with that particular software. Its a priority thing as well. I have other tools and software I need to learn and stay up to date on for employment issues.
