I'm beginning to wonder if Southampton will be able to field a team for the new season at this rate. A couple more of their players, Schneiderlin and Rodriguez are being linked with other teams as well.
Yeah Bill, I've been to Mallorca quite a few times, my parents have a place there just outside Santa Ponsa, very nice!!
Remy fails his Liverpool physical, so the deal is off.
Strange one that. There were rumours of a delay, but I thought it was just paperwork. Concerns were raised at his medical and a second opinion confirmed it. Heart defect, apparently. Pity, as we won't get someone as good as him for that fee and we need another striker. No doubt someone will take a chance and he will bang in 30 goals!!
santa ponsa! nice. if liverpool win the title u can invite me, tg, kev n jim ovr for a mini-break to celebrate! ha ha.
so whats happening in the football world? sam allardyce doesnt appear to be singing off the same hymn sheet as the chairman altho he has said its a misundrstanding and his job is safe. so that bodes well for the start of the season.
somebody suggested on the radio yesterday that 4th place in prem down to 7th should be a play off for the last champs lge qualifying slot, so 4 teams would battle it out like they do in championship, sort of extend the excitement. any thoughts?
Lukaku signs a five year deal with Everton for a fee of £28m!! That's their biscuit tin emptied...
Also, the Premier league have confirmed vanishing spray will be used next season apart from games featuring Arsenal, in case Jack Wiltshire mistakes it for cocaine
I'm retroactively sick and tired of hearing about Louis Van Gaal. Sometimes I have to re-read the BBC site banner to make sure I'm not somehow on a Manchester United page.
Liverpool have signed Belgian Origi for £10m. The big guns are loading up.
Oh, I'm also tired of those photos of footballers taking their physical and all attached like Steve Austin, who at least was worth the six million they spent on him.

Tell me about it! Even the print media are having a love-in with old flathead. Seems every little thing he does is the work of genius.
Personally I think he's clearly unhinged and is cracking under the pressure already
good to see you back after the tortuous trial of defending the rock ! ;-) you certainly were ...undefeated.
I just wanted to know what he meant with those remarks about the original "Commish." It was spirited discussion and the op in that thread was mistaken to accuse us of anything but that.

Yeah, the media love, love, love until it's time to tear the idols of their own making down, down, down. That's how they make their money, by creating the "story."
van gaal looks like someone set fire to his face and put it out with a spade.
He does faintly resemble a Dick Tracy villain in many respects, but if he's a great manager he can look like Hans Zimmer and the supporters wouldn't care!
I hope I'm not upsetting any of you guys by posting a picture of Daniel Craig on this thread...
Steven Gerrard is all smiles as he meets actor Daniel Craig after Liverpool's game against Manchester City in New York on Wednesday.
Apart from a love of Liverpool, the two also have something else in common - James Bond. That is, of course, the character Craig has portrayed on screen while it is apparently Daniel Sturridge's nickname for Gerrard.
He hates it, apparently, but I doubt he told Craig that.

Yup, I'm sick of reading how he went to ManU without even having a holiday between jobs! Oh my god, he must be superhuman, I mean everyone has a holiday between jobs, don't they.
ManU start the season with some very winnable games, so I'm hoping the supporters will be jumping up & down, back in the big time...& then things start going wrong. He-he (sorry any ManU supporters here).
