"I'm a good person"

Always said just after it has been revealed that said "good person" did a very bad thing.

"I'm not a witch"

"A full life", or even worse "a full and productive life" or yet worse "a full and fulfilling life".

Besides the fact of how you measure and classify "a full life", the expression simply makes me want to lash out.

I have probably harped on this one before - using SO to begin every answer to every question asked everywhere. Makes me SO crazy.

Also, "I like my football".

And you a Kate Bush fan (Pi...)

Hmm...

Sorry to bring up "He does love his numbers" - but I'm still cheesed off that you got tickets to the concerts and I didn't... frown

Oh yeah, I've realised why I don't like my football but don't mind his numbers. When said about another person it's affectionate and acceptable. That kind of tweeness is horrible, however, when used by the speaker about himself.

Glad I haven't been holding my breath waiting for your further thoughts!

Probably wise!

THIS IS WEIRD!!!!
After months of noticing this thread and never opening it, I decided I wanted to post to it, but it was nowhere to be found.
I figured the best way to find it was to click on someone's profile... ANYone's profile, since I think everyone(Except for me) had posted to it.
So I came over to the non-filmmusic side, and randomly clicked on a member's name... DavidinBerkley, and after searching through the list of threads he's posted to, I found this thread... and the WEIRD part of it is that DAVID STARTED THE THREAD, and of course I had NO IDEA that he was the one who started it!! What are the chances of THAT happening?

Anyhooooooo....
I've never looked at this thread, but I'm betting that at least ONE person has posted this... one of the phrases that drives me NUTS is........(Drum roll, please!)..........

"It IS.........what is IS"! I FUCKING HATE THIS PHRASE! STUPID people use this phrase to make themselves sound smarter than they actually are. Having said that... I guess it is what it is!big grinbig grinbig grinbig grin

Oh... let me add "CARBON FOOTPRINT"! I told a friend of mine that I walked through a bed of discarded charcoal briquettes and left my "carbon footprints"(HAH!)! big grin

The Republican campaign for President has produced two phrases that I wish would go away
"CLown car"
"reality show"

Not that they aren't accurate, but they have had their day
brm

"BOOM!" (As in "gotcha!," "nailed it!") I hear and read this far too often lately.
