Sorry, that is not the answer.Hint , from the late 70's

Here are two possible answers, both of which could be wrong:

Steve Martin/ Bernadette Peters

Or more likely: Chevy Chase/Goldie Hawn

, Those are not the answers-One of the comedians really hit it big on a TV show in the 70's.The other comedian did something PETER SELLERS did, you should get it now.

Well you got 50% right. It is ALAN ARKIN AND PETER FALK IN THE IN LAWS-79-A crazy tyrant running a Latin American country says that line.

You still after mine? My goodness, I didn't realise it was quite that difficult - there are people on this board who know this movie much better than I do....

You need a hint? The line again is "Put yourself in my place - I can hardly step aside. Cannot let my hands be tied, I am law and order."...this thread is popular Dan, way too popular...you know, Every Time I Look At You I Don't Understand, Why You Let The Things You Did Get So Out Of Hand.....

Oops! I meant Peter Falk. I have no idea why I said James Caan as I wasn't thinking of Freeby and the Bean.

TO ADVISE AND CONSENT- The current question should be a breeze for you. The line was stated as the character was dying.

It depends. If the film is less than fifteen years old, chances are I haven't seen it.

It has been a couple of days after all...was sung (sort of) by Bob Bingham in Norman Jewison's "Jesus Christ Superstar".

Norman Jewison. A fine film maker, but very curiously I still haven't gotten around to seeing that one.

It's worth it to see and hear the late great Carl Anderson in full flow....and Ted Neeley is just a legend...
