I've been lifting weights for 20 years. Though light weights nowadays because of a lower back problem. Usually three days a week. I generally eat very well compared to the average American, (mostly chicken, tuna and eggs) but still battle the bulge. I'm a living example of gets fat just looking at food. My favorite workout score? Conan the Barbarian of course!

Hate how over produced videos are nowadays. Slow mo- fancy camera moves, quick swipes, dramatic cuts. Can't concentrate on technique and it makes me dizzy. Ugh!

No vegetables? Or fruit?

You're getting protein, but the latest research over the last few years says fats are mostly good if you exercise.

It's strange.

For over a million years mankind and his relatives have needed exercise to live. Suddenly, in the last century or so, people arrogantly assume they've overnight evolved not to need exercise. Tell that to the sabre-toothed tiger.

Narcissistically, we disparage what we don't do ourselves. Someone once worked out that many of Alexander's veterans were in their 50s when they reached India. In our warped modern world, walking is somehow 'natural', whilst athletic activity is eccentric or specialist. Our ancestors couldn't afford this distinction.

I'm good on fruits, (which I usually have as snacks) but terrible when it comes to veggies. I go long stretches without vegetables. I have to constantly remind myself to add them to my diet.

A word to the wise, for the veggies, you can try brocoli (cooked), carrot (raw), spinach (smoothie: mixed with apples).

These are massage machines that stimulate the blood of the muscles: theoretically, it is valid.
Unfortunately, this is a shallow and soft training.
Women need a similar training as male body builders: weight lifting like deadlift and squat.

Watch this female athlete that represents the brand Gymshark
and train at the notorious Gold's Gym in LA.

Meet Karina ELLE
