Thanks, Ian. Glad to see Seahawks win too.

The Dallas Cowboys are going to be a force to deal with.

The Raiders too it seems. Now they're tied with the Patriots in the AFC! I don't think anyone would have predicted that at the beginning of the season.

A good win against the Cards today, 19-38. Puts us 7-4. Saints took out the Rams. As I type, Raiders are playing against the Pants and level, and the Buccs are playing the 'Hawks and winning. Lots of time remaining in those games though. I'd still hopeful of us getting into the first round of the playoffs comfortably. smile

The Raiders pulled one out against the Panthers, 35-32. Of course, Oakland was winning 24-7 at halftime. Either way, I'm happy, as this means the Raiders will finish above .500 for the first time in a long time.

Next weekend I'm taking my daughter to Atlanta to see her Falcons take on the Chiefs as a present for her 12th birthday. (My wife graciously decided to stay home with our 6-year old son.) I will definitely be a Falcons fan that day as I hope they crush the Chiefs.

Sadly, the Seahawks are a declining force. They may not make playoffs.

There's still five games to go. The 'hawks defense is pretty good so I think they will still get a decent number of games, possibly enough for the playoffs. They're still doing better than the Falcons on games won.

The biggest concern with the Pants game was Carr's injury. But the fact he got back into the game and got the win hopefully means his finger will be OK.

I wouldn't bet on the Falcons beating the Chiefs. I hope they do, but bearing in mind we lost to the Eagles I wouldn't like to say any game is a sure win for us.

From what I understand, Carr's injury shouldn't make him miss any time. However, if he can only operate from the shotgun, it really limits the type of plays Oakland can run. Buffalo is coming to town next week, and they are no pushover.

I don't expect the Falcons to beat the Chiefs. I certainly hope they do, because not only will it help my Raiders, but it will make my daughter very happy!

D*mn, that was close. Disappointing loss for us against the Chiefs 29-28, we gave away interceptions and couldn't complete at crucial moments. Puts us 7-5 and potentially not making the playoffs, but conversely that game was probably the last of the 'difficult' ones of what's left.

Well, I think it can be said that the Rams suck...

What are you talking about - they beat Forest 3-0 yesterday...

It wasn't fun watching the Seahawks get decimated. Boooooo

A winning season! Yay! wink

It looks like several teams are through to the playoffs in one way or another now, including the Raiders and the Seahawks. The Buccs lost so they're a game behind us, but I think the NFC South title will probably go to the wire.

And chalk another win up against the Panthers, puts us 10-5 with just the Saints left on New Year's Day. Wonder how the Buccs will do tonight against them?

The Saints are currently up 10-7 halfway through the second quarter. Does Atlanta win the division with a Tampa Bay loss?

We do, and in fact did. That Saints win hands us the division title and cements the playoff place. But we will still need a win against the Saints next week to stand a chance of staying No 2 seed for the NFC and getting a first round bye. And I have to remember that our position currently is in part thanks to the Cardinals beating the Seahawks - sorry Joan frown

Bad news for Raiders with that Derek Carr injury though, ouch.

Good to see the Browns manage to evade a 0-16 season.

Heartbreaking news for my Raiders. I was watching the game and thought that he twisted his ankle, at worst. No such luck. At least they had already made the playoffs. I'm hoping the backup QB will rise to the occasion, but I'm not holding my breath.

My daughter is very happy that her Falcons not only made the playoffs, but won their division.

Apparently if we win against the Saints next Sunday, then we get the 2nd seed, the bye week and homefield advantage in our first game. If the Lions lose tonight, we might even get it before then, but I've never understood the tie break rules so can't be sure.

Bad game with the Seahawks. My daughters were there; I guess they didn't yell loud enough. Watching Lockett get his leg broken was horrible.
