What a retarded thread this is, and what's worse it's positively crawling with retards! (myself excluded, naturally).

You live in this world; get a thicker skin and prepare to be offended, possibly on a daily basis.

Personal Confession: When I was seven years old, I took a bite of a "Clark" candy bar, hated it, and threw it into a bush. The next day, feeling peckish, I scoured the bush for the discarded Clark bar; it was gone.

Geez, that was bad; I will now include myself among you retards.

When I was ~ 7, I let a friend talk me into dropping gravel pebbles one at a time down the fuel fill tube of my dad's '59 Chevy Impala, cuz it made a cool, shoop-shoop sound as they descended into the gas tank. embarrassment

I'm a recovering nail biter. *starts chewing nail*

Oh, yeah. I remember having a meal with you, your wife and several other FSM board members, in LA.

During the meal you gave me a funny look at one point. Maybe that was you non-verbally trying to say to me "I'm a recovering nail-biter; are you one too?"

Was it? wink

When I was 8, I broke the turn signal arm off the steering column of my parents' new 1962 Plymouth Valiant. It was a push button no less. Boy were they pissed off.

When I was a kid I used to play with mercury. You know, the heavy liquid silver stuff. I even tried drinking a few drops of it. Never got sick. To this day I've never had a serious illness or injury. God, I'm awesome.

As I grow older, I feel an increasing amount of guilt for being so much more compassionate than all of you.

And I feel more guilt about you being so much more compassionate than me as well.

BTW, can you let me hold a dollar 'til payday?

Sorry, Old Sport, but like all more-compassionate-than-thou people, I never put my money where my mouth is.

No apology necessary! I now realize your true compassion is illustrated by denying me funds which I likely would have squandered on stuff that would rot my teeth and my brain!

Not true, though I finally *did* get around to watching Blackadder Goes Forth, which I loved (and was moved by, as well).

It's also the reason I now call everyone "darling", darling. big grin

Yeah, the season set in WWI is classic!
The first season is a bit too "British" in the Hugo Drax senses of the word>
