No question there, Timmer.

We also have to admit Samantha Bond's a close favorite, the sole successor to imbue the role with a spark all her own: mischievious, out-of-reach, but with a touch of class we found invigorating.

Or even mischievous.

Yes, Samantha Bond's trip to the virtual reality room at the end of DAD was the only thing that was worthwhile or even interesting in that movie.

Well, at least with me you are 100 PERCENT GUARANTEED not to catch any Rod Stewart cooties.

How can you possibly choose a woman who married Peter Sellars AND ROD Stewart.

I thought the Bond/M confrontation scene on the ship was well done; in fact their scenes are probably the best in the series.

The rest......frown

Not anymore. Rod Stewart recently married a new trophy wife.

I couldn't disagree more ... and no, the movie wasn't that worthwhile or interesting. I truly disliked this scene (a rare thing for me with 007 movies) but then I suppose this did bring the PB~007/SB~Moneypenny scenes full circle. I didn't like the dialogue of their initial meeting in GE, either.

The "full circle" comment is quite accurate in another sense, MM, especially since Samantha Bond was always adamant in stating she'd only stay aboard the Bond-wagon whilst Pierce Brosnan was.

Not many (actors or otherwise) have such impressive integrity in that their word is definitely their Bond ...

What? No Barbara Bach?

BTW, I agree 100% with your top five, Neo, and you get extra credit for including Corinne Dufour overrall.

Honorable Mention: "Dink", from Goldfinger, who gets a nice fanny slap before Bond and "grandpa" Felix get into their "man talk."

My list:

1. Claudine Auger (THUNDERBALL--my favorite Bond Girl))
2. Honor Blackman (GOLDFINGER--always wore pants)
3. Teri Hatcher (TOMORROW NEVER DIES--great strip scene--a double, I think).)
4. Carey Lowell (LICENSE TO KILL--Mrs. Richard Gere))
5. Barbara Bach (THE SPY WHO LOVED ME--Mrs. Ringo Starr and a lousy actress).
6. Alsion Doody (A VIEW TO A KILL)
7. Maude Adams (THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN)
8. Jill St. John (DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER--Mrs. Robert Wagner)
9. Corinne Clery (MOONRAKER)
10. Lana Wood (DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER--Natalie's sister, ample endowment according to her website photos)
11. Britt Ekland (THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN)
12. Carole Bouquet (FOR YOUR EYES ONLY--got more attractive the older she became)
13. Tula**(FOR YOUR EYES ONLY--the Bond Girl that's really a Bond Boy)

**just kidding

As far as Forever Favorite Bond Songbirds go, NO ONE will ever do it better than, in the All-Time High Numero Uno Position:

{ 1 } SHIRLEY BASSEY (Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever, Moonraker)

{ 2 } NANCY SINATRA (You Only Live Twice)

{ 3 } K.D. LANG (Surrender)

{ 4 } SHEENA EASTON (For Your Eyes Only)

{ 5 } RITA COOLIDGE (All Time High)

{ 6 } CARLY SIMON (Nobody Does It Better)

{ 7 } TINA TURNER (GoldenEye)

And, no, we aren't boycotting the guys. This happens to be a FEMALE Appreciation Society, y'know?

Love to see Sinead do a title song!

When she finished singing, she could hold up a picture of Judi Dench and tear it in half.

That' not gonna happen, Bruce. 35 years later and people are still all over Jane Fonda. For some people, letting go is not a skill set that they possess. frown

Come on people.

How come we all name all those women and make a wide circle around the most obvious one:

Shame on you.

Kind regards.
