THE MAN WITHOUT A BODY (1957)

Speaking of aliens, I think there was an ECU of Farrah Fawcett-Majors-O'Neal-Fawcett's eyeball in the computer chip removal sequence.
(David)

The one I thought of with Farah is the scene in Saturn 3 in which the robot delicately picks off an iron filling or some such thing that jumped into her eye. Isn't there a close-up? I have not seen the movie in a veeeeeeeery long time, so I'm not sure, but I believe so.

Can't find an image anywhere but Kirk's retina scan in Star Trek II when he is accessing the Genesis tape.
(SaxPlayer67)

There must be many such scenes in the movies--
- Never Say Never Again; they replace one of Domino's brother's eyes and examine the new one, then he passes a retina scan test to access a missile.
- Tom Cruise's character has his eyes replaced as well in Minority Report

Lost has had several instances of close-ups on eyes, which I think are referenced on Lostpedia.

*David, let me know if the pics are too gross and I'll remove them. Just trying to shed some light on the scenes...they're true eye openers! Or maybe eye closures? Hee Hee (^_^)

You want eye trauma? I got yer eye trauma right HERE buddy!

Nothing was more horrifying that the "shaking her eyes" moment from THE BIG SNIT!

You're always shaking your eyes! Shaking you're eyes here, shaking you're eyes there - why don't you go and join some kind of shakin' rock and roll band!

Shake you're eyes at me lady! That's what they say!!!

I seem to remember the trailer of this film used this eyeball closeup.

I can't find a photo, but here are the opening credits to The Tamarind Seed, which begin with a close-up of Julie Andrews' right eye. Besides, with the actual credits, you get to hear Barry's great theme.

How about the credit sequence for VERTIGO?

Or Hitchcock's famous pan shot in YOUNG AND INNOCENT. We know the killer's eye twitches. The camera pans over the bustling hotel lobby, then the night club, then the band in blackface, then the closeup on the eye of one player, and it twitches! All in one shot.

Vertigo was already mentioned, but I love that shot in Young and Innocent!

My favorite, the original Black Christmas

My mum and sister stayed up late one Christmas and watched Black Christmas. Then when they went upstairs, the loft hatch was ajar. No way could that have happened on its own...
