I can't find a photo, but here are the opening credits to The Tamarind Seed, which begin with a close-up of Julie Andrews' right eye. Besides, with the actual credits, you get to hear Barry's great theme. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rlJgUozYFc

How about the credit sequence for VERTIGO? Or Hitchcock's famous pan shot in YOUNG AND INNOCENT. We know the killer's eye twitches. The camera pans over the bustling hotel lobby, then the night club, then the band in blackface, then the closeup on the eye of one player, and it twitches! All in one shot.

Vertigo was already mentioned, but I love that shot in Young and Innocent!

My favorite, the original Black Christmas My mum and sister stayed up late one Christmas and watched Black Christmas. Then when they went upstairs, the loft hatch was ajar. No way could that have happened on its own...
