Shane Black at the Great American PitchFest this past week said that Skyfall wasn't the worst Bond movie, but it was close.

I aim to agree.

Well that quote by Shane Black is enough to make me forgive him for making Iron Man 3 suck so bad.

Aye, I liked Skyfall, couldn't remember a Bond movie I could sit through till the end and not get bored; well Casino perhaps but that went on a bit too long for my taste. I wouldn't mind hearing Newman return as well as I liked the duo's approach to Bond.

Interviewed by U.K.'s The Stage, Mr. Mendes threw one surprising thunderbolt - declining being
considered for heading The National Theatre - and confirmed another anticipated one:

“But nothing is going to be determined until 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' [now previewing at the
Theatre Royal, Drury Lane] has opened,” he said. “I’m literally here from 8.30 am to midnight every day, and
it occupies every inch of my attention. So we’ll make decisions about that once 'Charlie' has opened.”

This has gotta be making some Eon-ites

acute with anticipation, no?

Personally, I'm OK with Mendes returning. I just want new script writers.

It's being reported that not only do we have a star, a director, and writers, we also have a title....

Put as much faith as you want in this, coming as it does from the UK press (who are not known for 100% accuracy but this particular tabloid is not often too far off...

...allegedly, the title (at the moment) is "Devil May Care" - with the film of course based upon the Sebastian Faulkes novel
