I was just looking up some other plastic surgery disasters and saw that guy that made himself look like a cat. I didn't even WANT to put a pic up here. What the deuce is wrong with some people? I mean, I know that body decoration has been around as long as mankind itself... but come on!
Is that the guy from JUSTIFIED. The one with the mobile home? Just saw him on XFILES 11
I'm watching Graham Norton right now and Nicole Kidman has turned herself into a hideous plastic faced alien lookalike. As far as I know, she hasn't had acid thrown in her face or been in a fire, but she's made herself look like she has!! Maybe it's just excessive Botox use, but either way, it's not a good look (to me anyway). Such a shame. She was quite naturally pretty some years back.

I recall reading an article on Nicole Kidman in which she joked about being relieved to be able to move her face again after so much Botox. It made me think she had stopped with the artificial youth treatments. I admired her candor, as I couldn't imagine an American actor of Kidman's caliber going on the record with a remark like that.
BTW I don't think its a "damn if you do, damn if you don't" issue. Everyone has a shelf life in life. Athletes, surgeons, models, teachers, everyone. Our bodies and mind don't function at the same level when we were younger and we can no longer perform at the same level. So we're forced to eventually retire from our profession. With actors and celebrities they don't want to give that up, look or act their age.
When people like Mickey Rourke and Joan Van Ark have multiple surgeries and end up resembling M'Ress' unattractive older sibling, is that considered a success? Is looking like a catlike creature what they wanted? I ask this in all seriousness.
I honestly don't know how ANYONE who goes Botox or PS can think they look better than their original version, Jim. Yes, if you've been burned by fire or acid, it's a godsend to fix your ruined skin, but as a means to stop your face from growing old naturally, due to vanity, it's a tragic no-no to me.
Alfre Woodard was all Botoxed up for LUKE CAGE. Putting aside her appearance, it limits her expressiveness and thus diminished her considerable acting skill.
