In my collection (of over 2000 CD`s) I have only 2 non-soundtrack CD`s and those are one with Sarah Brightman (that features the Jerry Goldsmith song) and one with Weird Al Yankovic(the one with the Jurassic Park track). But since both of those two include film music of some sort therefore I usually says that I only have film music in my collection.
Indeed. He posted that like some kind of badge of honour. Seems a very closed mindset to me to only listen to film music.
But how many key rings have you guys got?
And besides, it isn’t like film music is a single type of music. If you only listen to classical music, you’ll miss some great pop and rock; if you only listen to gregorian chants, you’ll miss some great jazz; if you only listen to country & western, you’ll miss some great musique concréte; but if you only listen to film music, you can get all this and more...
Maybe but it's still music written for the specific purpose to support a movie. Lots of great classical, pop, rock etc written outside of that confine which seems negligent to miss out on.
I don't have a single keyring, but I do have a few badges

I think you’re being deliberately obtuse. I like that!
Yes, great score. Would have loved to hear it in JUDGE DREDD (it's actually a rejected score, so would be more suitable for the soundtrack twin thread).
