Broke into the Bacardi and it's a huge disappointment. Must remember to feed it to in-town FSMers who don't share my love of Woody Allen, Jerry Fielding, and DC Comics films. Drink up, Wanderer! Phew! Partially saved. Love Woody, love Jerry, not into DC Comics films. How much of that crap do I have to drink as a punishment? And Jim, for a man who lives in Florida, you do seem to keep very British hours. Are you sure you don't live in Bognor Regis? There's a beach there too.

You're not overly "Star Warsie" in your enthusiasms, so just drink enough of the stuff to be a happy "potato." And Jim, for a man who lives in Florida, you do seem to keep very British hours. Are you sure you don't live in Bognor Regis? There's a beach there too. Well, I adore you Brits as you no doubt know, but I also suffer from insomnia and average at best 5-6 hours o' sleep at night.

I attended a colleague's wedding last week and lived on Gin and Tonics--it was amusing to me that the seal of the large bottle of Beefeater was cracked open "just for me" and that I kept returning to the same bar station to watch the bottle's contents gradually drop with each drink I ordered, as it was apparent that I was the lone Gin drinker among a crowd of 200+ guests. Your own little oasis! After I was diagnosed with a big hernia last year (and additionally gained a lot of weight over the last couple of years), drinking isn't as fun as it used to. In other words, I don't have the same energy anymore. But I keep pushing on whenever I get the chance. Downed 7 beers in my lonesome just last night, and tonight, I'll be having some white wine and a few beers as well, including the brilliant Haandbryggeriet Fyr & Flamme, which IMO is the best IPA in Norway. There's supposed to be Eurovision on tonight, I hear, but I haven't been invited to any parties. So might as well stay home and watch the remainder of my TWIN PEAKS walkthrough in preparation of the upcoming season.

It's Friday again! I'm going to celebrate by drinking six bottles of Lenda Galega white wine paintstripper (still less than one euro each) mixed with laxatives, then dump uncontrollably over my collection of terrible old Dimitri Tiomkin scores! Anyone care to join me? Not in the same room of course...

The lads I used to work with and play footy on a Sunday with still have a twice yearly footy day out (first Saturday in June and December) so tomorrow, I'm off to the Pen & Wig pub in town (near the Pier Head) for 1-00 o clock to have some fun. We drink, chat, rib, bet and reminisce until we fall off one by one. I'm gonna try and make it to still be out for the Champs League final (8-00 kick-off), although how much I'll see of it is subject to booze! Cheers!
