We think you're thinkin' of a strong arm scene in the elevator when the sniffin'-with-a-cold McCall plays physical enforcer with the guy ostensibly Sharkey's superior.
I've just watched the Pilot episode on the DVD set. The commentary track is nice but it's the only episode in the set to feature commentary. Some great insights from Mr. Sloane. Also, the transfer is a little schizophrenic. It's kinda crappy for the first quarter of the episode and then improves so much that it looks like the episode was shot yesterday.

NO. the dvd box has a disclaimer about some music being different than the broadcast versions.
Just finished watching "The Children's Song". So far, that has been the cleanest print in this set I've seen. I hope the rest of the prints are as nice as this one was.
I'm really enjoying this blast-from-the-past. I remember how difficult it was for me to always catch this show in the days when I was working full time, some odd part time jobs, going to college at night, and studying/writing papers on the weekends. [sigh] Where did all that energy go? McCall was saving the City in middle age!
