To Zap Brannigan-please don't take this the wrong way but i am suprised if you love films you have not heard of Manuel DE Oliveira
Well, I haven't, and I've never heard of any of the films on his imdb page. And I don't think I'm unusual in that respect, at least among Americans. He might be a big behind-the-scenes person in European film, but he's not very famous in America. If he's a celeb in Europe, then by all means he should be listed. To still be professionally active at his age is phenomenal.
Actress Danielle Darrieux is 95. She's worked with directors as wide-ranging as Claude Autant-Lara Max Ophuls, Anatole Litvak, Robert Rossen, Billy Wilder, Joseph L. Mankiewicz, Jacques Demy, Claude Chabrol, Andre Techine, and Francois Ozon, and has a credit as recent as 2010.
Honor Blackman - in the original TV Avengers & Hera in Jason & The Argonauts & Pussy Galore in Goldfinger, coming up to 85 (born 12th December 1927), & looking at the imdb. still working, & a fine looking woman & she still has that great voice.
Herman Wouk, the author of "The Caine Mutiny" and "The Winds of War" among others, has just had a new novel, "The Lawgiver," published at the age of 97.

To me, the ultimate comment on just how long Herman Wouk has been around is that his first major job came writing sketches for Fred Allen's radio show. That would make him just about the last person left with ANY kind of notable connection to the Golden Age of Radio.
