MMEB is coming to this month's Dark Season festival in Kristiansand.
Are you coming?
Have you ever seen them live?
Yes, I saw them live in Rockefeller in Oslo, 1997 (or thereabouts). I was 20 years old and stood in queue with a bunch of 40 and 50-year-olds in denim jackets! Quite an experience. Chris Thompson was the lead vocalist then. Is he coming this year too?
Thanks. I'll probably go if I'm gonna visit my parents in Grimstad that weekend or something; I haven't decided yet. Also, 400 NOK doesn't seem so expensive now that I've paid almost 800 NOK for the Rammstein concert in February!
I just paid 350 to see Øystein Sevåg in Bærum Kulturhus October 31. I really want to see Simple Minds at Sentrum Scene in November too, that's 475 or something. Do you know them?

Probably not as well as you, but of course I know a few songs by them, like "Don't You Forget About Me", "All the Things She Said" etc . Classic 80's pop.
Barbra Streisand - ButterFly (get it? butter...? fly...? bad joke but it's a great album and I love the cover, regardless - oddly, produced by Jon "Batman" Peters):
Such an incredible (and troubling) album cover. Evocative and stark. Rage is heavier than what I lean to, but I think it's a great album, nonetheless. Their debut, yes?
Barbra Streisand's new Diana Krall-produced album LOVE IS THE ANSWER (decidedly understated and a perfect fall jazz album - like Barbra's first few albums):
In my opinion, it's one of the best club/drum'n'bass albums of the 90's. But it doesn't really sound like the more ambient LIFEFORMS. By the way, I love the track "Among Myselves" on that album.
