Special guest stars included Isaac Hayes, Cicely Tyson, Lisa bonet, John Amos, George Stanford Brown, Robert Goulet, David Heddison, Jim Brown, David Crosby, Sid Caesar, Tyne Daly, Rick Moranis, Annie Potts, Larry Storch, Paul Reiser, Christopher Walken, and Carol Burnett.

Indie film about a nerdish middle aged High School teacher (Paul Giamatti) who becomes obsessed with the habit of collecting everything from bottle caps and old movie posters to 60's and 70's TV series shows on tape while dealing with his cantankerous aging parents who wonder when, or if, he'll finally move out to get married and raise a family. Michael Constantine, Barbara Barrie, Aida Turturro, Scott Benjaminson, Ed Begley Jr, Susan Dey. Special appearance by Alan Alda.
