Guess I'll just have to muddle along with the suggestions already posted.

Impatient or what!

I’m quite fond of the occasional Boost bar. Thick chocolate on the outside with a nice caramel and biscuit middle. Or if not in the mood for fannying around, a Yorkie.

I do depart for Old Blighty tomorrow, Old Stick. Plus the generous replies from before made my bumping of the thread a bit ostentatious, but it's a favorite of mine and I'd like to file adoption papers making me its author.

Yorkie I can find here but there are numerous other candy bars out there. The UKers sure love their sweets, don't they?

Tomorrow is it? Happy trails! By way of a warm northern welcome we’re shoving off to the Canaries this week. Otherwise I’d have turned up at Thiefrow and had Jim Phelps paged every ten minutes.

"Thiefrow"? I like that. It's almost as magnificent as Miami International Airport which is unironically referred to as "M.I.A."

I have £3.06 that's been burning a hole in my pocket for the past seven years...I'll be sure to put it towards an Old Jamaica bar.

Enjoy your holiday! (not always possible with family, I know).

Well luckily it’s just Mrs TG and me on the plane... smile

Apparently the "Double Decker" is a candy bar worth seeking out.

I went through a phase with these but sickened myself off them after a while.

Thiefrow, ur, Heathrow does not appear to carry Old Jamaica candy bars, but I will be there again tomorrow (sadly) so perhaps a second recce will result in finding the things (if they even still exist).

Meanwhile, I have loaded up on lots of Czech candy bars and am quite happy about that! (to say nothing of the beer since I've been here).

Never did get to try the Double Decker but I did load up on the "Euro Kit Kat", which is infinitely superior to the American version.

I've been indulging in most of these Czech candies (which put my suitcase well over the weight limit; it may do the same for me):

Had a Mars bar this week, and it was truly splendid, for whatever weird reason.

I also keep a can of Brit-style Heinz beans handy for those fry ups that might occur at any time.

As long as the lyrics glorify candy bars and sweets in general.

(and which will no doubt offend 99% of FSMers, who are all fit and trim, and who would never fill their perfect bodies with such garbage)
