Actually saw Part 5 last night...it´s OK, should be more violent deaths in it...
I wanted to see what happened to Matt or the Uncle how they died, and Pam should crawl around in the mud some more
I'm often annoyed at how the filmmakers' in the F13 series cheat by not showing deaths. I do strongly feel that the power of suggestion can be just as scary as a gory death (Halloween comes to mind), but when you spend suspenseful minutes during the "stalk" aspect of "stalk and slash" and then don't deliver, it's like building up to a joke for 3 minutes and not deliving the punchline. I always wanted to see Brenda's death from Part 1 and Mrs. Jarvis' death in Part 4. I strongly emphasize, this is not because I'm a sicko, but because they spend so much time building up the "stalk-and-slash" moment before their death, but they completely leave out the "and-slash" part. I feel a lil' cheated, and plus I want to see the deaths just to stick it to the fucked-up censor-mad MPAA morons. Not to mention many FX wizards spend days or weeks crafting makeup and gore effects only to watch their hard work go down the drain, that really sucks. Plus I really wanted to see the unedited Dr. "Bad News" Crews death -- he was such a loathsome character I wanted to see that weedwhacker take its toll. They should've also shown Shelly's death and the acquisition of hockey mask, IMO. I heard Violet's death (in Part 5) is much, much worse, featuring insertion of machete into a woman part. Part 7 is infamously known as the most-censored of all the films, even though it has more blood than Part 8. I think Buechler and his team worked really hard to create incredible makeup FX in Part 7, and it's sad to see it fall at the hands of pretentious "decency" corrupt cops.

9/15 David! Great guesses. I wonder if I'd be able to solve as many of these as you have. You are the default quote king...as no one else is taking a "stab." I'm glad to see you return, you were an integral part of the F13 party yesterday!

10) The Duke, in his jail cell, asking Stephen to "pay the price" for information on how to kill Jason.
12) Alice to Steve Christie as he looks at her drawings while she works on the gutter. Did you know Alice is an accomplished artist in real life? Interestingly, and quite sadly, her role in F13 spawned a psycho stalker who terrorized her at her residence in NYC. It really messed with her. In the colossal DVD documentary "His Name Was Jason," she recounts the tale, and gets very teary. It's so sad. She shows some of her artwork, including artwork that she created after the stalker incident, and you can clearly see that her tastes went darker as she was in a dark place, and a lot of her paintings reflected her traumatized state of mind.
There was also an interesting story about how, when Samantha was naked in the raft in Part 4, the director Joseph Zito was demanding take after take after take and she was so cold in the raft she developed hypothermia, and Zito still insisted they continue shooting. The actor who played Jason, Ted White, nobly interrupted shooting (a truly classy guy) and gave Zito hell for treating her that way.
Also, Danny Steinemann, the director of Part 5, had previously directed a porn movie, which I think explains the ridiculously gratuitous nudity and the sex scene in the woods...not, ummm, that I'm really complaining...
14) Jimbo, after sleeping with the twin, when he shows her panties to Teddy bear. He laughs his goofy Tom-Hanks-in-The-Money-Pit laugh, and proclaims "I was great!"
15) Nick to Tina, while bonding next to the lake, skipping stones.

Boo! I cannot believe we have to wait that long. But alas, Hallows Eve will be here in a few!!
Loved all the quotes, too. Had fun going thru the posts and trying to figure out who said 'what' and from what 'part.'
And one quote that just has me giggling since last eve:
"Chris: Shelly, why aren't you at the lake with everybody else?
Shelly: Oh, they said they were going skinny-dipping. I'm not skinny enough."
Shelly has GOT to be one of thee most pathetic characters in F-13 history!!!! I think I actually laughed when Mr. Jason gave him a piece of just due!
Oh yes, Holly, for better or worse, I will be livin' it up in a Halloween thread in a few months, posting a ridiculous amount of nerd-esque Michael Myers love.
