Here's my prediction for the final tomorrow:

Gomez scores for Bayern. Lampard (penalty) and Drogba score for Chelsea.

Chelsea in a Cinderella story win, 2-1.

I would not bet against Chelsea doing it tomorrow.

all that pre-match guff about not having any walking centre halves and both luiz and cahill are supposed to be fine.

of course, this wont help Tottenham.

I'm hoping Blackpool win in the afternoon, they're such a mad swashbuckling team, & the Premier League has been duller without them. And Chelsea to LOSE in the evening. I know it's against.....foreigners (a German team!), but Chelsea always have to lose.

I find the promotion final just as interesting as the big money league's pageant. Nothing like two desperate teams trying to get out from under.

One thing about the present Premier League champions of Manchester City mystifies me:

The "Citizens" have always been the underdogs, the team for Manchester's working class. How can these still identify with a club that's now just an expensive toy for an Arab billionaire??!

For what's at stake, it's actually the biggest game of the season.

The same way we all would.

I want City to do well until my team gets back into the Premier League. Every drop of their success is a dagger to the heart of Manchester United!

Not just the owners, some footballers earn more in a week than many supporters earn in 4-5 years! I think it's a really odd situation, & certaintly not a level playing field for teams. I hope this, Fair Play thing works.

Here's my prediction for the final tomorrow:

Gomez scores for Bayern. Lampard (penalty) and Drogba score for Chelsea.

That's how it will be. Chelsea will have two shots on goal and score both times. Munich will have 15 shots on goal and score only once, in the 80th minute or later, but will fail to equalize in time.

Another incentive for Bayern is that if they win tonight, they get to keep the trophy, as Liverpool did in 2005, by winning it for a fifth time.

I wonder who carries the bigger burden in this game? Chelsea with their large amount of backstory (aging team, interim manager, fast-on-the-trigger owner, Fernando Torres not producing, John Terry racism scandal, comeback vs. Napoli) or Bayern having to host this thing in their own back yard and the pressure not to lose there. Germany hasn't won this tournament in ten years and Chelsea never has, so something's gotta give.

Can't wait!

I don't prefer one team over the other, I just hope the referees don't decide the outcome with a stupid call.

Think Torres will do THIS tonight?

Not to forget Munich has already finished second in the other two competitions this year (lost both German championship and cup to Borussia Dortmund). Three runner-up spots in a row isn't *that* nice.

I'm not a Bayern München fan, but I think they'll win. Chelsea's players are over the hill, they did poorly this season in the Premier League.

It's amazing Chelsea got past teams like Barcelona! But it really should stop for them tonight. I have money riding on this game!

GO GERMANS!
