Vincent Gardenia stars as a Sales Manager for a top Palm Beach Cadillac dealership who discovers that he can make more money by torching the premise than relying on his quirky staff of salesman, in this black comedy. Robert Reed, Leslie Ackerman, Mark Shera, Vic Tayback, John Schuck, and Frank Gorshin as "Sheldon Wint"


Frank Gorshin deserved a nomination for this role.

MGM's attempt to make one more Freed Unit-styled musical. The Kander-Ebb Broadway sensation is brought to the screen with direction by Vincente Minnelli and starring Leslie Caron as Sally, Fred Astaire as Herr Schlutz, Kathryn Grayson as Fraulein Schneider, Carleton Carpenter as Clifford and Gene Kelly as the Emcee. 1930 Berlin is brought to vivid life right in the studio.
