Why are web browsers so finicky nowadays? Is everyone fine with this?
I have used Google Chrome for years. About 3 months ago, all videos (youtube, netflix, etc.) started stuttering every 10 seconds or so. All web suggested "fixes" have failed.
I started using Firefox for all video. It was fine for months. Now, even though everything else works, HBO Go has no sound. Tried a dozen "fixes" without improvement. But HBO Go works just fine on Explorer.
Some work applications require me to use Explorer, other things require Chrome.
My GPS updates used to require Firefox; now they only work on Explorer.
I remember when I used to use Explorer for everything!
Is Blumhouse the most worthless film production company in existence? A company that churns out total shite on the cheap, film after film, to make a first weekend profit before everyone catches on?
I just thought of something, didn't Anakin die in Luke's arms? Why didn't his body dissolve like Ben and Yoda?
I assumed that he did fade away. We just didn't see it happen as they cut away when he breathed his last. Luke just carried Vader's empty suit on board the shuttle and then burned them on the pyre. I never saw anything that indicated Vader's body was still in the outfit when Luke did the cremation. Of course SWTFA may have disproved my theory.
For that matter, why couldn't Palpatine force-fly right back out of the reactor shaft?
That one is kinda sticky. My assumption was that the forcebolts being exchanged pretty much fried both Vader and Palpatine, weakening both to the point of death.

Well, he definitely recovered pretty nicely right after reabsorbing all the force bolts that Mace Windu deflected back at him!

True, but at quite a physical cost - his whole countenance changed after battling with Windu; unless it really was that way and his appearance as "Senator Palpatine" was an illusion (e.g., the holographic image in SWTESB). I tend to think that force bolts directly transmitted into his and Vader's bodies via physical contact were far more powerful and damaging than those transmitted thru the air.
Are we crossing over into "Nerd War" territory? Have I/we gone so far afield as to be in "Weenie Territory"?!
Does a new CD release ever prompt a stupid question?
I don't know about that, but I have one about a slightly older CD release:
Is the La La Land Star Trek: The Motion Picture 3-CD release currently out-of-print? I don't see it listed as available at SAE, my usual stop for purchasing soundtracks; only on the "Add to my Wishlist" option...
