I've been-a-body-popping all night long, Billwink

Liverpool 5 Norwich City 1- Canary feathers everywhere as Luis Suarez scores four goals in a stunning performance. I know of at least two middle-aged Reds supporters who are happy. big grin

How dare you!!wink

It was much about Suarez last night, wasn't it? Incredible performance. It was fun to watch him discombobulate Norwich all on his own. They must be sick of the sight of him.

He'll bring you loads of money in the January transfer window, boys. After all, it's not as if he's Champions League-tied, is it? wink

There must be another Andy Carroll out there somewhere...

Your friend,

TG

My biggest fear is that they would go for bentner in the transfer window but i think we're safe on that. Altho that said, id take anyone apart from what wev got!
Somehow i think suarez will stay unless somebody massive comes for him. City united or real. And i dont mean arsenal.

Arsenal have chelsea and man city in next few weeks so lets see where they are come jan.

Suarez night was a masterclass though. as was hazard of chelsea.

meanwhile we are trying to work out what a Kevin Nolan does? Anyone got any idea?
When he has no one to create scraps he just seems to stand about but not get substituted.
Remarkable.

World Cup draw tomorrow! I hope "fate" is kind to the Three Lions (and of course to Team USA). Wouldn't it be great if our two countries were in the same group again, all warm and snuggly (and knocked out in the Round of 16 again?).

I might be doing him a disservice, but from what little I've seen, he gets into the occasional good position then either hasn't got a clue what to do or the ability to actually do it (the Gabriel Obertan school, you could say).

Whilst the temptation is to hope for the poorest possible opposition, I think I'd prefer us to get into a Group of Death. If our over-paid and over-rated showponies are coming home with tails between legs, let them have a chance of a great game against Brazil or Argentina rather than scrape through boringly against Nigeria or Iran and then go out on penalties to France or Portugal in the quarters.

At least we haven't got "Sir" Beckham to jump out of tackles like the little girl whose voicebox was transplanted into him.

Ouch.

but very accurately put tg. Spot on. Personally for many years i have quite enjoyed watching the big headed tossers get humiliated and then come home squirmingly embarrassed.
Only to start the next season more billy big bananas than ever.
the mysterious and illogical wonder of a delusional ego.

Draw should be done soon. It is always dragged out for painfully long hours. Usually its longer than the world cup itself.

Somehow I knew the USA would get a tough group (Germany, Ghana, Portugal). FIFA is a synonym for "Mafia", isn't it? Brazil gets a cushy grouping, though.

Group G is a piece of cake for Germany. As for #2, it'll be a toss-up between the US and Portugal. Sadly, Ghana will have to go.

The jungle for us - shotgun bandits, stifling heat and mosqitoes - and the group of death.

Suarez and uruguay and italy. only a big win against one of them will get us out.
But then who cares. its all bollocks. We are knock out stage fodder even if we get through.

fat sam has laid down his gameplan for today against the Reds - we're going to keep Suarez down to a hattrick!!

Well... the plan worked like a dream. Suarez got one, admittedly, but to make sure he didnt get anymore we cunningly put through our own net three times. Take note, Allardyce is a tactical genius!

fukn load of wank.

At least Nolan got sent off so - something positive - he misses a game, hopefully several!

Be careful what you wish for!

I'd have settled for 3-3 when we were two down at half time, but a bit galling then to be 3-2 up and be pegged back at the death. Ross struck again!

And an away tie at Rochdale in the FA Cup. Would always prefer a home tie but at least it wasn't against the Arse or ManUre this time.

Speaking of which, my old turf team Newcastle did the world a big favour... smile

Good to see united struggling for once - now their fans get to savour what the rest of us suffer following a football team but they hadnt experienced for 25 years.
shame it had to be cocky air punching pardew who nicked a game off them.

Arsenal v everton was a good back and forth match. Everton did well especially barclay who has a lovely turn of pace and confidence to drive forward. They deserved their draw - certainly didnt deserve to lose after arsenals spawny late goal.

I hadnt seen what leeds did - sounds exciting game but a crusher if its your team blowing the lead.

Iam concerned - it is monday and not a word from the other three!!
Do we send out a seatch party? Maybe theyre camped in general discussion.?
