Chelsea would have had a chance if their goalie wasn't so shit.
He's let two Messi shots go right through him. One from a stupid tight angle. I thought WE had keeper problems!!

The arrogance of the English media.

Damn. I always support English teams in Europe, even United.

Just watching the Citeh v Stoke game from the weekend.
Pretty good.

Results mostly went for Bolton yesterday. Burton and Brum losing. Shame Hull won. We just need to win a few six pointers against them to help us survive. You have to fancy those relegated from the Prem to bounce straight back up!

Oh well, but then I suppose Conte's already working out his notice.

Barcelona 3 Chelsea 0 (Barcelona win on aggregate 4-1).

"All too easy."

This shit wouldn't have happened if Chelsea still had John Terry and Ashley Cole!

Delightful results with the exit of United and Chelsea.

I doubt Man City and Liverpool have the defence to hold out against the rest of those teams. So I expect them to go out in the quarters. Unless they draw one another, of course.

This is the stupidest decision to give a penalty I've ever seen.

Utterly corrupt decision to award Arsenal's penalty. That official should be dropped to pub league. The ref should be able to see from where he is too. He bottled it. Typical football, officials making themselves the story. 3 quick yellows for AC never would have happened but for that decision. Appalling

There go my dreams of an all England (-based-teams) final!

I'm pretty sure everyone thought the same in 2005 when Liverpool drew Chelsea in the semi-final, and look what happened there.

If I've learnt anything, it's never to write off Liverpool in Europe. Ever.

Liverpool vs Man City
Barcelona vs Roma
Sevilla vs Bayern
Juventus vs Real Madrid

Oh well, at least we'll have a team in the semis.

Wait a minute! Didn't Liverpool beat Thread Favorites Citeh earlier this season?

So why not again? Just don't lose big and goal difference will be your friend. wink

Can't see it happening myself, not over 2 legs and they have the 2nd game at home.

Nil desperandum!

I was disappointed with the draw (would have preferred Citeh to get Savilla to see how they fared compared with ManU) but at least each game is well worth watching.
