Not going to happen for the same reason WHV wouldn't release it, which is music issues. Warner has made it clear they're not going to adopt the CBS/Paramount approach of cutting corners with music replacement and edited content that has ruined many a release by them (not that it matters to me with Murphy Brown since I hated that show).
I am noticing in general a slowdown in classic titles as some have reached fast-completion in recent months (Kojak, Streets Of San Francisco) and a couple others are nearing completion (Mannix, Perry Mason, The Virginian). Some I am confident will continue over time to completion (The FBI, Fantasy Island, Tarzan, Alfred Hitchcock Presents). As a result, I'm taking a longer look at what there is out there and what isn't or stalled and I'm finding that overall I would consider myself at contentment for all time if only these pieces of unfinished business were taken care of:

One Step Beyond

Joey Bishop Show
And honorable mention for the final season of "Have Gun Will Travel" only beacuse it has a rare guest shot of Irish McCalla, who was TV's "Sheena, Queen Of The Jungle".
Unreleased titles:
-Sheena, Queen Of The Jungle (in good quality prints which do exist)
-Batman (if they are uncut and as good as my TV Land Canada boot set)
-Operation Petticoat (early Jamie Lee Curtis, plus the beautiful Melinda Naud)
-The Rogues (from the producers who also gave us Burke's Law and Honey West)
-The Man Who Never Was (Robert Lansing and Dana Wynter)
-Switch
-Longstreet
-Banyon
-The Ghost And Mrs. Muir
-Tazan, The Epic Adventures
There are probably other gems of the 50s-70s I'm not familiar enough with that I'd be willing to sample but by and large if you gave me all of those titles, I wouldn't need to make another purchase ever (of course some titles that have been released should be fixed in the tradition of "The Fugitive", specifically "The Odd Couple")

Bob Newhart Show is the one that I'm tired of waiting for. It's just 2 seasons, come oooooooonnnnnn! I'd love it if the '80s Newhart were released as well beyond season 1, but I know that's never gonna happen.

Unfortunately Fox has become the worst studio for TV shows on DVD whether it be those they were directly releasing or in terms of licensing titles out. They literally had to be dragged kicking and screaming just to finish "Mary Tyler Moore" and "Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea" and since then, nothing. Thanks to Fox, VCI can't do the final year of "Burke's Law" and we've got "Big Valley" stalled as well which means my hopes of seeing "Rogues" and "Man Who Never Was" I know are virtually non-existent.
They keep promising they will finish Bob Newhart, but they never deliver on that.
By contrast, Universal has been excellent at licensing titles out to other labels albeit with the caveat that it will mean the indie has to use the best existing source material and we won't see remastered material. Hence the release of "It Takes A Thief" using video transfers that date back to the early 80s and which look worse than Universal shows that come from early 90s transfers (Dragnet, Adam-12). Timeless has been a haven for many short-lived Universal owned titles of the late 50s and early 60s but with the caveat that they have to use 16mm prints for those releases (with rare exceptions being "The Virginian" and "Wagon Train"). That said, much as I've enjoyed many Timeless releases, the owners laid it on a little too thick with westerns and never bothered to tap into short-lived Universal owned sitcoms of the period.

Unfortunately, these old shows don't sell enough to get a decent presentation
and the reason why is that the original audience who used to enjoy them is gone.
The remaining people were too young or not born during these days so it became a film fan
curiosity and sometimes a scholar process for a minority.
What I want to say is that what make them exciting is the popular feel and the direct emotions
that the first audience used to experience when it was the up-to-date product of the time.

I never understood the sudden break of THE BIG VALLEY?
I only wish that Paramount completed RAWHIDE and Universal initiated THE ALFRED HITCHCOCK HOUR because I own the CD sets from Varèse.
To answer your above question: yes, there are other lost or hidden little gems in the vaults.
Some of them are curiosities that only last a single season.
All I wish is that vintage television had the equivalent of the Criterion Collection:
An American DVD company dedicated to the preservation of the past.

The brutal stop of vintage releases of the late 2000's and early 2010's during the economical crisis show how fragile is this peculiar economy. The first casualties were FRISCO, MANNIX and VOYAGE.
I'm not sure I'd call them "casualties" since all three of them did get finished. "Voyage" and "Streets" did have long layoffs but "Mannix" never had too extended a period without a release for an eight season show that will have been completed in roughly a four-five year span I think overall which is a pretty good track record. "Voyage" I will concede was victim to a general Fox policy which got finished only because they were so close to begin with.
You'll probably get "Rawhide" completed since there have been two years released in the past year. The hour long version of "Hitchcock" I think has to wait until the completion of the half hour version which has two more years to go, and there are flyers that S6 will be coming soon though we don't have a specific date yet. For those who like the hour long version, I think being hamstrung to the fact that it's technically Seasons 8-9-10 of an earlier property just as TZ S4 was in its hour long version is why you've had to wait that long.
Now that "Gunsmoke" has its entire half hour run out on DVD, I'm not too interested in continuing with that since the show IMO declined once it went to an hour with stories that were more bloated compared to the compact dramas of the half hour version. Plus, I *really* dislike Ken Curtis's Festus in contrast to Dennis Weaver's more likable Chester.
I realize I also should have added "Barnaby Jones" to the list of stalled titles I want to see restarted. At one half season of a show that ran seven and a half seasons, it has the worst percentage ratio of episodes available for a show that made it to DVD!

Eric, there's also the case of "The Felony Squad" which has never been released in any format.

Never seen "Felony Squad" which is why I didn't list it. It's one of those titles that if it were announced I'd try it, but I don't feel lacking if it isn't out yet.
Forgot to add that the only two 1980s series on DVD I'd love to see are "Crazy Like A Fox" (CBS killed that show when they moved its timeslot) and the short-lived "Murder She Wrote" spinoff "The Law And Harry McGraw". Would like to see "The Equalizer" finished too but otherwise I don't need anything post-1980.

Looking over my want list of tv shows that have yet to be officially released
I've discovered there's really not much left that I want. Nearly everything
has been released already. As for the stuff that hasn't - all of them
them were short-lived - one full season or less (half-a-season).
Most of them I actually do have on dvd - aquired from private collectors
who, in most cases, recorded them from tv. Interesting that all of them
are 70's shows:

It only took eight years for us to see this three season series brought to completion on DVD. Season 1 came in 2005, and Season 2 came in 2007 only because of the "Nancy Drew" movie at the time.
One down, one to go in the Universal stalled 70s titles that only needed one more season released ("Baa Baa Black Sheep" being the other).
