Sorry for the small pic, but I've looked all over the net, and that's the only picture I could find!

Hey, American Nightmare, I saw Wu Tang live in Oslo two years ago. They showed up at least two hours late, but when they finally came, they got the party started (at least for the few who had actually turned up...this was a poorly advertised event). Loved the bit when they got lots of female fans up on stage and they started flashing their breasts to the audience! big grin

Cool, man, I bet that was an incredible show. I'd love to see the WU perform live. Those guys are untouchable. The only rap concert I've ever been to was an all-day event called the "Smokin' Grooves Tour," about 10 years ago, featuring many different performers and headlined by CYPRESS HILL (love those guys!). Holly and I jammed all day long and into the night. It was a blast. Oh, I almost forgot...we also saw SNOOP DOGG at one of the Lollapalooza shows back around '97, along with TOOL, THE MARLEYS, PRODIGY, and others. That show kicked ass, too.

To everyone that reads this post: Please do yourself a favor and listen to the samples below. Then, if you're intrigued, proceed to buy the album. It's a classic.

A TRIBE CALLED QUEST! I love that stuff. It seems you're into old-school hip hop and rap, AM. Do you like Sugar Hill Gang, Grandmaster Flash, Ice-T etc.?

Oh yeah, totally! Love 'em all. Run D.M.C. is probably my favorite old school rap group. Their first three albums are genius, especially how they fused rap and heavy metal...total pioneers.

These two comps are fantastic, and feature many of the songs I listened to and loved when I was a kid (and still do!):

LEARNING TO FLY is one of my favorite PF songs. I love the live version from Delicate Sound of Thunder, too. Heck, that whole concert is amazing! Wish I were there...

Bootleg of a live concert in Amsterdam, September 17, 1969. There are several covers for this, but I chose this one (even though it looks nothing like my own).
