I got Gotye's album "Making Mirrors" for my birthday.
I also bought myself Rush's first album, simply titled "Rush", Tenacious D's first album, simply titled "Tenacious D", and Rush's 10th album: Grace Under Pressure.
Now that I own everything Rush from their debut through Grace Under Pressure, and Hold Your Fire, it's staggering to hear the immediate difference made by the addition of the one and only Neil Peart. He may say Rush didn't become Rush until "Moving Pictures" but I say that it was Rush by "Caress of Steel" and was well on its way for much of "Fly By Night". He made them what they are.
Ah, I thought it was the PULSE DVD, which -- incidentally -- is brilliant. I attended their PULSE concert in Oslo back in 1994 (I think), so it has a personal connection.
But nice to see tribute bands operating here in Norway too. Even in Vennesla, of all places!
