STAR WARS: EPISODE VII---when Carrie Fisher was asked if she really is appearing in the movie, she replied, “I like being bought by Disney, because they never wanted to buy me before. I’m glad they are doing a new movie because they are sending a trainer to my house so I can get in really good shape. So I’m really eating a lot of sugar in advance, as you can see. By the time I really get down to it I will have eaten everything.”

Really loving Carrie's dead pan humor. big grin

I assume Worthington is neither sister nor slave? And why would any filmmaker want his brand of anti-charisma in a film? And while I have nothing against Marling, she does seem miscast in a Civil War period piece.

I've got nothing against either actor and no interest in Annie as a whole but the combination of all three made me stare blankly at my computer monitor for several heartbeats. Take that as you will.

TOKYO VICE---Daniel Radcliffe stars in this movie about a US crime reporter who is in Tokyo investigating the Yakuza crime syndicate.

Because of his many similarities to Robert Mitchum, no doubt. If he ends up chopping off his little finger, Madam Pomfrey will just grow it back.

If he'd done a better job, you might genuinely have a World Series! (But, take our word for it, the Germans would win it all the time...)

I'm totally with Abrams on this. One should strive to follow one's personal style and interpretation as much as possible, regardless of what audiences and fans want. Of course, it should also fit into the existing fictional universe, but I'm confident Abrams will find that balance.
