Just some technical difficulties, I'm sure. If all the speculation and Zimmer bashing threads were expunged from the forum, it would hum along as if it were 1999, when this board was perfect and argument free. I only have the nostalgic words of the FSM Wizened Collective to go on, but it must have been simply glorious.
I think I'll restrict my postings to the mornings because the forum works perfectly in Europe when everyone stateside is fast asleep and no longer cluttering it up and slowing it down with so many posts
I am in the US and stop in at different times throughout the day and it is the slowest website I visit. I was thinking it might be my internet service, but it is also this slow on the university's internet service on all the computers I use. Here it is 5:30 am and I have already been on 3 other sites while this one is still loading. I closed out of those sites and this was still loading until now. So early in the morning does not even work. Everything seems to get slower as soon as the SAE advertisement on the top starts running and so far none of the members icons have come up.
Now you are mentioning this; everytime i try to click on a page it takes forever to load, no other site is giving me such a headache as the FSM site, sorry to say!!
I too have been having problems with this site, the last few days it's even slower. I have no trouble on other sites. When I click on a topic it just won't load sometimes, I go to another site etc. I have trouble posting a comment etc. I tried 6 (new) computers at my local library, same problems. The library computers are very fast on other sites. Perhaps Lukas can check this out.
As I mentioned before, I'm not complaining, FSM is a great site.
