La-La Land Records, Paramount Pictures and WEA join forces to present the expanded and remastered re-issue of legendary composer Jerry Goldsmith’s (THE BLUE MAX, PATTON, THE OMEN, BASIC INSTINCT) original motion picture score to the 2002 Paramount Pictures espionage thriller THE SUM OF ALL FEARS, based on the acclaimed Tom Clancy novel of the same name, starring Ben Affleck, Morgan Freeman and Liev Schreiber, and directed by Phil Alden Robinson. Goldsmith brings his decades worth of musical prowess to bear on a young Jack Ryan’s desperate mission to stop a potential nuclear war between the U.S. and Russia, triggered by a Neo-Nazi leader who threatens to detonate a nuke in an American football stadium. Striking themes and motifs abound in Goldsmith’s powerhouse orchestral score, expertly weaving patriotism and hope with chilling dread and nail-biting suspense in equal measure. It’s undoubtedly an important work from this iconic maestro’s final chapter. With an expanded running time almost 30 minutes longer than the original 2002 soundtrack release, this deluxe presentation of THE SUM OF ALL FEARS features previously unreleased score cues as well as bonus tracks and songs – all of it remastered by Doug Schwartz in stellar sonic fashion. Produced by Dan Goldwasser, this limited edition of 3000 units features exclusive, in depth liners by writer Jeff Bond and thrilling art direction by Goldwasser.

ESCAPE FROM L.A.: LIMITED EDITION LLLCD 1285
Music by Shirley Walker & John Carpenter
Limited Edition of 1500 Units

La-La Land Records and Paramount Pictures present the remastered and expanded release of Shirley Walker & John Carpenter’s score to the 1996 Paramount Pictures futuristic actioner ESCAPE FROM L.A., starring Kurt Russell, Steve Buscemi and Cliff Robertson, and directed by John Carpenter. When it came time to score his big-budget follow-up to the cult classic ESCAPE FROM N.Y., director/co-writer John Carpenter, who had inventively scored most of his films (HALLOWEEN, THE FOG, BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA), collaborated with the ingenious Shirley Walker (BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES, BATMAN MASK OF THE PHANTASM, WILLARD) to create the perfect musical soundscape for the further exploits of Snake Plissken. Building upon Carpenter’s iconic synth template, Walker harness her trademark orchestral power and the result is a full-charging heroic score that takes Plissken to new action-packed heights. Produced by Dan Goldwasser and mastered by Doug Schwartz, this expanded release boasts a running time of more than 78 minutes and contains cues that were recorded for the film, but never used. Film music writer Daniel Schweiger brings the listener behind the movie and its score with his in-depth liners and the sharp art direction is courtesy of Dan Goldwasser. This is limited edition of 1500 Units.

FLESH + BLOOD: LIMITED EDITION LLLCD 1293
Music by Basil Poledouris
Limited Edition of 1200 Units

La-La Land Records and MGM present the remastered re-issue of renowned composer Basil Poledouris’ (CONAN THE BARBARIAN, ROBOCOP, THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER) original motion picture score to the 1985 medieval-set action/drama FLESH + BLOOD, starring Rutger Hauer, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Jack Thompson, and directed by Paul Verhoeven. Considered to be one of his best works, Poledouris’ bold score continues in his CONAN tradition – and it’s an absolute powerhouse! Essentially, a release for those who weren’t fortunate enough to obtain it previously, this re-issue produced by Ford A. Thaxton and remastered by James Nelson, is a must-have for any film music enthusiast who missed out on grabbing it. Film music writer Randall Larson eschews re-counting ground already covered extensively in previous editions of the soundtrack and instead focuses on an interview he and David Kraft conducted with Poledouris, in the composer’s home, on May 19, 1985. To our knowledge, this is the only detailed, contemporary interview Poledouris gave on this score and much of this lengthy conversation had remained unpublished… until now. Majestic art direction by Mark Banning rounds out this exciting presentation. This is a Limited Edition of 1200 Units.

SUPERMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES: LIMITED EDITION (4-CD SET) LLLCD 1276
Music by Kristopher Carter, Harvey R. Cohen, Michael McCuistion, Lolita Ritmanis & Shirley Walker
Limited Edition of 3000 Units

La-La Land Records and Warner Bros. proudly present the world premiere release of the magnificent original score to the acclaimed television series SUPERMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES. When producers Bruce Timm, Alan Burnett and Paul Dini brought to life the companion piece to their successful BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES, they turned to the very same BATMAN musical team to provide a score worthy of the Man of Steel. Composers Kristopher Carter, Harvey R. Cohen, Michael McCuistion, Lolita Ritmanis and Shirley Walker delivered a knockout musical tapestry, the highlights of which are represented here in this amazing 4-CD SET produced by John Takis and Neil S. Bulk and mastered by Mike Matessino. Running over five full hours, this presentation features over 20 full episode scores, including the three-part epic crossover “World’s Finest” and Lolita Ritmanis’ Emmy-nominated score to “Little Girl Lost.” Also here, is the original unused ending score for the series’ finale, “Legacy.” Film music writer and album co-producer John Takis takes you behind the music with in-depth liners that feature exclusive composer interviews. Heroic art direction from Jim Titus rounds out this must-have compilation, showcasing some of the finest music ever recorded for an animated series… or any series, for that matter! This is a limited edition of 3000 Units.

BATMAN THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD: LIMITED EDITION (2-CD SET) LLLCD 1289
Music by Kristopher Carter, Michael McCuistion & Lolita Ritmanis
Limited Edition of 2000 Units

La-La Land Records and Warner Bros. Animation present the original score to the animated television series BATMAN THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD. Acclaimed composers Michael McCuistion, Lolita Ritmanis & Kristopher Carter (SUPERMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES, BATMAN BEYOND, YOUNG JUSTICE) craft the perfect musical backdrop for this wildly inventive, riotous and retro-tinged Caped Crusader series that has quickly amassed cult status since its initial airing on Cartoon Network. Notable for its jazzy crime riffs, this expertly pitched score also brims with infectious themes and heart-pounding action cues. Produced by the composers and mastered by Doug Schwartz, this limited edition of 2000 units features exclusive, in-depth liner notes by film music writer John Takis and Bat-riffic art design from Dan Goldwasser. Simply put, this is a sensationally fun musical experience from one of the most unique incarnations of BATMAN ever produced.

Limited Edition of 2000 Units

Leonard Rosenman’s (REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE, A MAN CALLED HORSE, STAR TREK IV, ROBOCOP 2) legendary score to the 1966 science fiction classic FANTASTIC VOYAGE, starring Stephen Boyd, Raquel Welch and Edmond O’Brien, and directed by Richard Fleischer. Composer Rosenman provides the film with a complex musical foundation that propels the action narrative into the dramatic unknown, while keeping character, theme and emotion at the forefront. Long out of print, this wondrous soundtrack masterpiece returns, with no new tracks added, but with much improved sound, (lovingly restored by Mike Matessino), and wonderful new liner notes by film music writer Julie Kirgo. Produced by Lukas Kendall and Nick Redman and mastered by Daniel Hersch, this limited edition release of 2000 Units features all-new, eye-catching art direction courtesy of Jim Titus.

DEAD AGAIN: LIMITED EDITION LLLCD 1284
Music by Patrick Doyle
Limited Edition of 2000 Units

La-La Land Records and Paramount Pictures proudly present the remastered and expanded re-issue of renowned composer Patrick Doyle’s (HENRY V, CARLITO’S WAY, THOR, JACK RYAN: SHADOW RECRUIT) original motion picture score to the 1991 Paramount Pictures thriller, DEAD AGAIN, starring Kenneth Branagh, Andy Garcia, Emma Thompson and Robin Williams, and directed by Kenneth Branagh. Composer Doyle goes Herrmann Big, crafting an intricate and robust orchestral score that is the melodic lifeblood that courses through the veins of Branagh’s twisty-turny Hitchcockian past-lives mystery thriller. Clocking in at over 78 minutes, this presentation greatly expands beyond the film’s initial soundtrack release, even adding original score material that was cut from the finished film! Produced by Dan Goldwasser and mastered by Doug Schwartz, this expanded release, limited to 2000 units, does one of the 90’s most notable scores long overdue justice. Exclusive, in-depth liner notes from film music writer Brian Satterwhite takes you behind the movie and its music, while Dan Goldwasser’s art design captures the film’s attractive gothic flair. A must for all film music enthusiasts.

Just to clarify about THE SUM OF ALL FEARS, please: somebody I know did look at the track-list and told me 'it's not complete, it lacks something like 15-17 min of final score'.

Is that true, please? (I only watch for the film once, a long time ago).

I love the samples and I'd like to ad I'll buy this one whether it's 'complete' or not.

That's also what I answered to him. I said: there's even the American Anthem we all wished about, so what?
He's depressing!

Nice from you to have confirmed it's complete. Thank you!

I've already chimed in at the other threads for this, but I'm happy to chime in again here and say, ORDERED! smile

I'm always excited for any new or expanded Goldsmith. This one looks pretty substantial.

I remember reading an interview but JG, back in 2002, in which he said he thought "The Mission" should have been his homage to the victims of 09/11, more than his own composition from THE LAST CASTLE. I always thought he was right about this point. The Mission is an underrated masterful track. And the whole score is given today the definitive exposition it deserves, thanks to LLL.

the only thing I remember from this 2002 score is the TERRIFIC main theme (and song) and that "Clear the Stadium" thundering cue.

listening to the new music from the online clips... well, more of the same goldsmith typical underscore of that era... Good and nice music but... I need more today for double-deeping, I presume.

but keep 'em coming, of course! smile With the expanded AIR FORCE ONE you'll get my money in a second!
