There's apparently three new CDs coming out. One is Bill and Ted and the other two are as per the clues provided by Roger:

"Although one is a cd reissue of an 80s horror score previously only on LP. Not expanded, but it's a great program. A book about the studio that produced this film said they think this is one of the best scores to come from this studio. The master was extremely elusive but finally surfaced.

The third release is a straight reissue of a previous two cd set that sold out almost overnight. Second chance on these two scores!"

No idea on either of these... the 2 CD set could be almost anything, although I thought I remembered Rosenthal's Mussolini score being mentioned as a potential reissue on the Intrada forums.

Rosenthal's 2CD Mussolini set is one I've long been hoping would be reissued.

Please let this be "The Power" by Christopher Young!

Re-reading the clues, I don't think it's the Mussolini score. The clue says "second chance on these two scores" implying that its a 2 CD set with two separate scores on it. Still no idea what they might be.

Baxter's Master of the World/Goliath and the Barbarians?

Perhaps it's INVADERS FROM MARS, unless that one counts as three scores smile

That's a good guess.

Or perhaps How To Steal A Million/Bachelor Flat, though I don't remember how fast that one sold.

Bingo! That's the one and great news it is for those who didn't get a chance to acquire them.

Any Richard Band scores that were released on vinyl but not yet on CD?

Richard Band's TerrorVision? John Scott's Inseminoid?

Best guesses I've heard so far are Young's The Power (pity the complete tapes couldn't be found, but I'm glad the album tapes were) and the Baxter two-fer, which did sell out insanely fast.

I'm hoping for Pino's "Crawlspace," I've always loved that LP and Intrada has done some of the other Varese LP-only releases of that era. But is there a book about Empire Pictures? (I just googled it and discovered that apparently there is: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2014/02/11/book_review_empire_of_the_bs_charles_band/)

I hadn't even considered CRAWLSPACE. Superlative score for a rather dull movie.

As much as I'd love to see The Power finally released on CD, I believe there are several 'issues' that would make that difficult. On the other hand, Crawlspace would be a near equally awesome release. Being it on Intrada!

If I remember right, Crawlspace was one of the only Donaggio scores Page Cook actually liked.

I feel the same way about reissues when there are scores that have never seen the light of day.

But, it never hurts to save a few bucks.
