Is he out of the hospital? Is he feeling better? Any word on what was ailing him?

He's home and doing fine, taking a period to rest and recover properly.

Good to know he's OK.

I'll add MY thanks as well, Mike! Williams has been on mind a lot since I heard he was in the hospital!

Americans often use your name all the time in a conversation. In most of Europe, this would be considered rather rude.
Really? This is new to me. Can you elaborate?

A friend of mine has a handyman who, for some strange reason, keeps saying his name multiple times, even in one sentence! "Well, Rick, it would seem to me, Rick, that the problem you're having, Rick, is that the valve stem needs replacing on your hot water tap, Rick"... NO EXAGGERATION! Weirdest habit!

Really? This is new to me. Can you elaborate? Jason... I know that idiot Dale Carnegie highly recommended using a person's name frequently, because - according to HIM - people LOVE to hear their name! I was determined to make this woman who I was madly in love with, fall in love with me, and one night when we were at dinner, I was using her name repeatedly. It creeped her out, and that was it.
