Nice to see Kritzerland further expanding the range. A fitting time to release Gorky Park, hot off the heals of Intrada's 48Hrs and the connection between that particular Horner sound from the early 80's. Hope it's expanded. I love 80's Horner. :-)

Not expanded, unfortunately. The album master is all that remains. However, I believe the track sequencing has been shuffled around a bit to reflect film order, and it's also remastered. Bruce can correct me if I'm wrong. Two presentations of the score - film order and album order - plus improved sound.

Glad to see you putting out a Horner score! Look forward to the new presentation. Hope masters for Brainstorm didn't meet the same fate. Both Gorky and Brain were from MGM and 1983

By chance, I just put the Varese album on ten minutes ago.

I don't have the Varese CD (I'm only a young'un!), saw the film for the first time last year, loved the score and am tremendously excited about this one!. Huzzah Bruce!

Yes, this will be 1000 units. Those who've purchased redos on other CDs we've issued (some for their third go-round) know that when I say improved sound that that means something. In other words, the people who had Casino Royale in its other two releases and were fine with that sound, really missed out on something special. Same with several others where we were able to help the sound. I know that doesn't mean anything to some people and it does to others - so if you're happy with the Varese then that should do you fine. For me, the chance to get this in film order and LP order and improve the sound was irresistible.
